Trailer Wiring Options for a 2018 Mercedes-Benz Metris
Question:
site confirms this is fit for a 2018 metris. Is anything else needed? and can you confirm this is correct fit for 2018 metris? what is difference in tekonsha 119191kit and/or tekonsha 119191-21? These are others I have stumbled across. Does one of these have plugs attached so I can just plug in? If so do you have these available?

The Tekonsha Kit # 119250KIT is a universal wiring harness which is why it is confirmed to fit your 2018 Mercedes-Benz Metris. There haven't been any custom wiring harnesses for a Mercedes-Benz Metris yet but the closest thing you can get to that is the ZCI Kit # 119250KIT which uses special splices that don't actually cut your wiring. We don't carry the 119191-21 kit you referenced but from what I could find it looks to be the exact same kit that we sell.
The other products that I recommend using are the mounting brackets # 18144 and # 18136 so that your 4-Way connector is able to sit right next to your trailer hitch receiver and it is ready to use whenever needed.
If you don't have any towing products on your Metris then I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13276 along with the ZCI Wiring Kit # 119250KIT and the mounting brackets mentioned above. We have installation videos for both the trailer hitch and wiring on a 2016 Metris that you can check out.
To complete a towing setup you also need a ball mount kit. I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900 because it includes two ball mounts, one with a 3/4” rise/2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise/4” drop, a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip. You will want to refer to the attached ball mount article to ensure that this kit is correct for your towing application.
