This hitch only has a maximum gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs. Unfortunately, the # DR64FR will not fit the Rubicon model. While Tekonsha does not have a plug and play extension you can cut the included end off of the Adapter # 3073-P and extend it 34" # 7894 or 60" # 20160 with one of their universal pig tails. If you only need a short amount you may be able to use the pigtail which came with the Prodigy P2 # 90885 should you still have it handy.

We do have the Hopkins Heavy-Duty Trailer Coiled Extension # HM47055 that is also 8' long when stretched like the Hopkins 6-Way Connector with Jacketed Cable # H20036 that you found. The coiled cable will help to prevent the excess cord from dragging on the ground.

We currently have two hitch options available for the 2021 Jeep Gladiator, the Draw Tite, # DR64FR and the Curt # CU74FR. The Curt option, # CU74FR best provides the OEM look because of where receiver sets, hanging just below the bumper.
