There is a really good option for towing mirrors that fit your 2007 Ford F-150 (so long as it is not an STX model) that definitely won't fly off your truck, which are a custom fit from CIPA:
- CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors # CM11800
The CIPA # CM11800 mirrors are a slip-on option and are highly secure due to the fact that they not only fit the exact shape of your mirrors, but tighten with a wedge lock that ensures they maintain a strong fit on your F-150. This ensures they won't have a... view full answer...
The Yakima Overhaul HD part # Y01155 fits tonneau covers with channels built into them for ladder racks like you are wanting to go with and has a dynamic (on the road) weight capacity of 500 lbs. What that means is that when used as a traditional ladder rack it would have a capacity of 500 lbs. The static capacity (when not moving) isn't listed but it would far exceed what you'd need for a tent like you mentioned.
For a tonneau cover that fits your 2021 Ford F-150 5-1/2 foot bed and has... view full answer...
Yes, since your 2017 Ford F-150 has a 3 inch suspension lift you will need to also use the 3 inch lift spacer from Firestone part # F2367 with your Timbren kit part # TFR1504E so that the Timbren kit can engage like it needs to. view full answer...
Since the 5-way trailer wiring connector isn't the most common style of connectors there isn't a direct 5-way adapter we can recommend to attach to the wiring of your 2018 Ford F-150. Instead the best option is to use a 7-way to 5-way adapter like part # A10-7275VP installed in a 7-way that fits the connector your 2018 Ford F-150 like the part # A10-7072VP. view full answer...
That's a good question and the right RoadActive Suspension Kit for your 2020 Ford F-150 with two-wheel drive really comes down to just two things: the amount of squat you are experiencing and if you are towing, the amount of tongue weight on the back of your truck. So the correct kit will depend on the following:
- Maximum of 2 to 3 Inches of Squat: Standard Duty RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611-B
- More Than 2 to 3 Inches of Squat And/Or 600 lbs or More... view full answer...
I can definitely recommend a suspension setup for the tandem axle trailer you are building with two of the Dexter # 7359765-EB axles, but it is not going to be all Dexter parts due to what parts are available and will work with what you are building.
The E-Z Flex Equalizers - Double-Eye Springs - Tandem Axle # K71-655-00 you mentioned wanting to use can be used on axles up to 8000lbs, but may cause a rougher ride as they will be overrated for your 3500lb axles. To use the # K71-655-00... view full answer...
The Rhino-Rack Batwing Compact Awning # RR33400 has 69 square feet of coverage and the Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning # RR33200 provides 118 square feet of coverage. Your 2019 Forest River NoBo uses the regular BatWing. The features are the same with both sizes but the canvas and telescoping arms are longer with your version.
Adding an extension to your Batwing will be a nice addition to your outdoor setup. Adding the Extension Piece # RR31101-32106 will give you an additional 48 square feet... view full answer...
Since your Ford tonneau cover is a roll up style that installs between the bed rails you would need a ladder rack that installs through the top of the stake pockets like the Thule TracRac SR part # TH43002XT-508 and you'd be set. This is a sliding ladder rack which means the uprights can slide forward and back. view full answer...
The best air bag kit that fits your 2020 Ford F-150 would be the Firestone kit part number # F2582 as Firestone just makes the highest quality air bags out there. Then for a compressor kit the Air Command II Xtreme Duty Compressor with Analog Gauge, Air Tank, and 25' Hose # F2549 comes with a really fast compressor that you can control from within the truck, an air tank, gauge setup, and a wheel chock with gauge for inflating tires if needed.

The B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System part # BW78FR per B&W, does have built-in sway control. That said, all weight distribution systems have some sway control as they provide friction at the connection point which will then in turn prevent sway. This is more or less known as two point sway control. Therefore, the system will help to prevent sway from occurring but it won't do much to stop it once it occurs. This is know as four point sway control like what you see on the Reese Steadi-Flex... view full answer...
The High Performance Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System # RP66560 you referenced will work just fine with the tongue weight and gross trailer weight you provide. This system also has reactive sway control which means it only responds to trailer sway after sway has already started.
I would recommend the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution Hitch System, part # RP66074. This system is designed for trailer with tongue weights ranging from 600 to 1200 lbs.
The Strait-Line Weight... view full answer...
Your trailer being connected and drawing power from your truck is likely the reason why the relay was missing. The power draw from your trailer will drain your vehicle battery over time if the alternator can't keep up or if your vehicle is not running to allow the alternator to charge it. Most vehicles only charge a trailer battery at a very small amperage of like 2-4 amps depending on what your alternator is putting out without being directly utilized by your vehicle itself. If there... view full answer...
The weight distribution system I recommend for your tandem trailer is the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w Sway Control, part # RP66559. This system works with trailers that have 500 to 1000 lbs tongue weight. This system also features sway control which helps when dealing with high winds and large trucks passing by on the highway.
A weight distributing shank is included, but you'll also need the properly sized trailer ball with a 1-1/4 inch diameter shank like # 63845 for... view full answer...
For your situation you would actually need a weight distribution system. Suspension enhancement will help a trailer tow level, but a WD system will actually distribute some of the trailer's tongue weight up to the front axle of the tow vehicle which will help with braking, handling, and sway prevention as well as preventing sag.
The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure... view full answer...
The big issue is going to be the length of the bed on your truck. If you have a long bed truck then sticking with the gooseneck would be just fine. If you have a short bed you would need to go with a fifth wheel hitch setup since there are slider hitches available that will allow you to make tight turns without cab interference.
For a gooseneck hitch for if you have a long bed you would want the part # C60721. This would be all that you need.
If you have a short bed you would instead... view full answer...
If you have a 7-way connector at the rear of your 2009 F-150, the harness I recommend is the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness, part # 41157. This simply plugs into the wiring behind your 7-way and you can then run the harness up to the bed of your truck to provide a fifth wheel connector. view full answer...
According to my Rhino Rack contact, their # RMCB roof basket will fit your OEM crossbars on your Patriot if they are no more than 3-1/2 inches wide and no taller than 1-1/2 inches, and the bar spread (center to center distance between the front and rear bar) can be adjusted so that it's between 21-30 inches.
Yakima tells me their LoadWarrior # Y07070 would be a fit for your factory roof rack.
When the size and cost of the baskets is compared, I believe the Rhino Rack # RMCB would provide... view full answer...
Yes we do. The most popular tow mirror option we carry for the 2015 Ford F-150 XLT is the Longview mirror part # LVT-2300-C which has been confirmed as a fit and would work well.
These are a great set of mirrors that have a perfect rating from our customers who have tried them so I would recommend them for you. I attached an install video for you to check out as well. view full answer...
Good news, I can help equip your 2008 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson Edition with a brake controller and wiring adapter.
First for a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha P3 # 90195, because of its easy user interface. The P3 is a proportional brake controller which means it senses how the tow vehicle is slowing or stopping and applies the trailer's brakes with the same intensity. It also has a full display screen instead of codes that need deciphering. The Tekonsha P2 # 90885 is like... view full answer...
First, your owners manual forbids recreational towing of a 4X2 truck. If you have a 4X4 then follow the guidelines in the manual.
You will need a flat tow wiring kit. You mentioned the # RM-154. I recommend the Roadmaster # RM-152-98146-7 Universal wiring kit which includes everything you need to connect your RV's tail, brake, and turn signal lights to your towed car. Diodes prevent feedback and wire your car to operate as a combined system. Includes a 7-way to 6-way straight adapter... view full answer...
