The easier install between the Curt and Draw-Tite trailer hitch receivers for your 2023 Chevy Equinox is the Draw-Tite hitch, which is the following part number:
- Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76419
The reason why is when installing the Curt # C77FR hitch you have to enlarge the holes in the frame rails for the mounting hardware to fit, something that does not have to be done with the Draw-Tite hitch.
With the easier install and the hitches otherwise having the same... view full answer...
The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-523193-5 will simply connect to your Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar # RM-520 directly instead of utilizing the crossbar between the tabs on each side of your Equinox. The Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-523193-4 will connect to your tow bar utilizing the crossbar between the tabs.

The Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202 is the latest version of the Thule EasyFold TH9032 and there are a few upgrades to what is already considered by many to be the best bike rack available, due in large part to its quality of life features. It still has the same 65 lb per bike capacity and can work in 1-1/4" or 2" hitches.
The EasyFold XT # TH903202 can handle 3" tires or up to 4-11/16" tires with Fat Bike Straps # TH985101 while the EasyFold TH9032 was limited to 2-1/2" wide tires. The EasyFold... view full answer...
We stock both the Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118494, and the Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 56094, because we have customers that request both styles. Many times customers do not want to run the extra wire to the vehicle battery, so they order the # 56094 harness. The Battery connection is the biggest advantage of the # 118494 harness for protecting the vehicle circuitry.
I would use the circuit protected model, # 118494, because there is always a possibility of a short... view full answer...
We currently have two class III trailer hitch options for a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox (Excluding Diesel), the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76419 and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13307. I recommend the Curt hitch because only the receiver tube portion is shown which makes for a much cleaner look once installed. I have attached a photo of this for you as well as a sample install video.

Unless your 2022 Chevy Equinox has the 2.0L Gas Engine with V92 Trailering Provisions, which is rated for 3,505 pounds towing, all other options will be rated to 1,500 pounds towing. The tongue weight capacity for all versions, including the 2.0L with the V92 package, will be 350 pounds, so both the Curt Class III # C77FR with the 2" receiver and the Class II # C98CR with the 1-1/4" receiver will be limited to these capacities.
With that being said, the Class III 2" receiver on the # C77FR... view full answer...
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, # 118494, allows you to operate trailer stop, turn, and tail lights but also includes a converter to protect your vehicle's wiring. This powered converter connects directly to your vehicle's battery to avoid overloading the electrical system. If there was ever a short or problem with the trailer's wiring, the only damage that could occur would be to the harness and not your vehicles wiring system.

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, # 56094, will fit your 2011 Chevy Equinox and will work to operate the trailer stop, turn, and tail lights. But, it does not have a circuit protected or powered converter to protect your vehicle wiring.
If given the option, I will always recommend the circuit protected powered converter, # 118494, because it is designed to protect your vehicles sensitive wiring. What it does is virtually eliminate the extra power... view full answer...
Of the 2 Curt receivers available for your 2022 Chevrolet Equinox, I recommend the Receiver # C77FR as the better choice. It has a class III, 2" receiver which has a lot more options available to fit when you are looking at hitch mounted accessories. The tongue weight capacity of the receiver is 675lbs and the maximum trailer weight capacity is 4,500lbs. Be sure to not exceed the weight capacities for your particular Equinox given from Chevrolet.
The Receiver # C98CR is almost identical... view full answer...
There is very little actual difference between the two trailer hitch receivers that fit your 2022 Chevy Equinox (non-diesel model), which are the following part numbers:
- Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76419
- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e59ZR
The biggest difference is actually in the installation, with the Draw-Tite not requiring you to enlarge the access holes in the frame rail to get the hardware through to install, an extra step the Curt hitch requires. Otherwise,... view full answer...
Malone is a great economical choice for your light use on your 2022 Chevy Equinox with raised rails.
As far as the Malone AirFlow 2 aero bars and the Malone SteelTop # MPG202, I recommend going with the AirFlow 2 - 58" # MPG216 for a couple reasons. The first is the aerodynamic design. The aeros are definitely less noisy than the square SteelTops. Additionally, the design leads to better increased fuel efficiency. As a final advantage, the AirFlow 2 crossbars have a full-length channel... view full answer...
The Curt wiring harness, # 56094 and the Tow Ready harness # 118264, are for different variations of a 2012 Chevy Equinox. Tow Ready harness # 118264 is designed for vehicles that have a factory tow package. Curt harness # 56094 is for a vehicle that does not have the factory tow package.
You are correct in that the Curt harness would receive power through the vehicle wiring to the trailer lights. Any problem could affect the vehicle electrical system.
Another option is to use the Tow... view full answer...
