To install the Tekonsha Voyager, # 39510, you will need one of two installation kits since you already have a 7-Way trailer connector. The 2002 Dodge Caravan is not set up for a plug and play type of harness like # 3021-P so you will need to do a little hardwring using harness # 20127.

In order for your trailer lights to function properly, you will need to use a tail light converter. The converter combines the signals for the directional signals and brake lights onto the same circuit. This is the same system that your trailer lights use.

An easy way to determine which line is the return line is to run the vehicle for a few minutes and then feel which of the 2 lines is cooler. The cooler line should be the return line.

The Brake Controller Install Kit, part # ETBC7 includes an adapter that converts a 4-Pole trailer connector to a 7-way. If you do not already have a 4-pole on the Caravan, you will need the T-1 Harness with Tail Light Converter, part # 118376 to provide one.

There were 3 possible transmissions that could be on your 2000 Dodge Caravan. The 41TE is a 4-speed and its return line is the one in the front of the transmission. The A31TH is a 3-speed and its return line is the one on the top of the transmission.
There is another 3-speed, A670, but I cannot find the information on which line is its return line.

When installing a transmission cooler, it is recommended to install the aftermarket transmission cooler in line with the factory cooler and not remove the factory cooler. In this case, you would have the factory system run to the Derale Transmission Cooler, # D13502, and then to the transmission. The pump would still work as it normally would, there would just be a little more fluid in the system.
