To install the Tekonsha Voyager, # 39510, you will need one of two installation kits since you already have a 7-Way trailer connector. The 2002 Dodge Caravan is not set up for a plug and play type of harness like # 3021-P so you will need to do a little hardwring using harness # 20127.
For a wiring kit use # 5506. Mount the controller as indicated in the instructions and attach harness 20127. Then you will need to use some of the wire in the installation kit to attach to the brake controller black and white wires. Then you will route them through the firewall and over to the vehicle battery, avoiding moving or hot parts that could damage the wires.
The white wire will ground to the negative battery terminal. The black wire will attach to the AUX post on the circuit breaker which you will mount to the metal of the engine compartment near the battery. Then you will need to attach a length of wire to the BAT post and run it to the positive battery terminal.
For the red wire, you will need to use a circuit tester, like # PTW2993 if needed, to test the wires on the brake switch located above the brake pedal. You will want the wire that only shows power when the brake pedal is pressed. If you find a wire but it also shows power with the headlights or turn signals on it is not the correct wire.
The last connection is the blue wire. You will attach one end of wire to the blue brake controller wire, route it through the firewall, under the vehicle, again avoiding moving or hot parts that could damage the wire, and attach it to the back of the 7-Way in the 7:00 position.
We do not have a video showing installation on a 2002 Dodge Caravan but I have included some video links on hardwiring in a brake controller that will be helpful. It will not be exactly the same since you already have a 7-Way but it will be a big help.
