Brake controllers are not vehicle specific so you can use any one that you want. What I recommend is a proportional brake controller. The way a proportional controller works is it applies the trailer brakes in proportion to how much your Bravada is braking. this is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on the trailer and vehicle.

Generally, I do recommend that all tires on your trailer be the same size at all times, so ideally your spare will match the existing tires on your trailer. With that being said, the difference between a 175/80-13 and a 175/80-13 tire is only 0.3 of an inch, so if needed in an emergency, the 175 spare tire should be fine to get you home.
