  • Bike Adapter Bar with the Highest Weight Capacity Rating for 2 Cruiser Bikes
  • I wouldn't say black and red on the Yakima adapter bar # Y02531 is ugly but then again beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But yes, it is the only bike adapter bar that will have the capacity for a 40 pound bike. There are a lot of bike adapter bars and they are all pretty much the same. Capacities given usually match the per-bike capacity of the racks from the same manufacturer. Yakima is the oddball but it works out. At least the adapter bars will only be on the bikes when they are...

  • Does the Trailer Tire and Wheel Combo # AM32001HWTB Come Balanced
  • The wheel and tire combos that we sell come from the manufacturer with some balancing. They line up the heavy spot in the tire with the light spot on the wheel but they are not balanced on a machine with weights. Any tire shop with the proper equipment can balance the tires completely for a nominal fee. I have included some helpful links for you to view.

  • Flat Towing a 2003 Subaru Baja with a Demco Base Plate and Roadmaster Tow Bar
  • If you are looking to setup a Demco base plate on your 2003 Subaru Baja and connect to a Roadmaster Sterling tow bar, part # RM-576, then there are some things you need. The Demco base plate for your Baja is part # DM9517170. To connect this to a Roadmaster tow bar, then you need the adapter. Of course, this depends on which Sterling you have. If yours has a serial number up to 14,500 then you need part # DM9523036. If it has a serial number above that, then use part # DM9523062. I've...

  • Will Curt Trailer Hitch # C11280 Fit My 2005 Subaru Baja

  • Is a 2 Trailer Hitch Available for a 2003 Subaru Baja
  • While we do have a Curt # C11280 are 1-1/4" Class I trailer hitches. If you wanted a 2" receiver you need to use the Brophy Hitch Extender # HES0 but this cuts the weight ratings of the trailer hitch by 50% which means your limited to 1,000 lbs towing/100 lbs tongue weight. Since this is less than ideal, I recommend using an accessory that fits a Class I trailer hitch receiver. If you let me know what you plan on using the trailer hitch for, I can make additional recommendations as necessary. Attached...

  • Trailer Hitch for 2005 Subaru Baja
  • You're correct, the # 24735 has been discontinued by Draw-Tite, and is no longer available. The Curt # C11280 is very similar and would install in the same manner as shown in the video you referenced. Really the only difference between the hitches is that the Curt # C11280 uses a reinforcing ring around the receiver opening, and the Draw-Tite does not. The hitch has a 2000 lb towing/200 lb tongue weight capacity, so in order to tow your boat, you'll need to sure it doesn't exceed 2000...

This is designed for bikes that have quick-release front wheels only. This can be attached to any solid surface and will hold one bicycle. You will need to make sure that the 2x4 is placed so that it does not move about in the bed of your truck. I have attached a link to a product review video you can check out.

  • Compatible Trailer Hitch for Bike Rack on 2006 Subaru Baja
  • Your 2006 Subaru Baja is only compatible with a Class I hitch, like the Curt Trailer Hitch # C11280, which has a 1-1/4 inch receiver so it will not be able to carry the Thule rack you already have without the use of a 1/4 to 2 inch hitch adapter like part # HTAD. Using the hitch adapter will allow you to use your Thule rack that you have that fits a 2-inch receiver. However, using a hitch adapter will reduce the maximum tongue weight of your hitch by 50 percent. The maximum tongue weight...

  • Capacity of Hitches Made for 2003 Subaru Baja
  • Trailer hitch manufacturers design hitches for vehicles to more or less match the vehicle's own capacities. There would be no value to put a hitch with a higher capacity on a vehicle that cannot offer the same weight/towing capacity. In the case of your 2003 Subaru Baja the vehicle's own weight capacities are such that only light-duty Class I hitches are made for it. A Class I hitch can handle a compatible Class I hitch rack of up to 2-bike capacity (but no more than 2) like the Curt...

  • Is There Base Plate Kit that Fits 2003 Subaru Baja
  • We have base plate kits that fit your 2003 Subaru Baja like the Blue Ox part # BX3611 but this would require a Blue Ox tow bar like the Acclaim part # BX4330. We don't have a way to attach a universal tow bar to this base plate kit.

  • Which Yakima Roof Mount Bike Racks Work with Factory Cross Bars on a 2004 Subaru Baja
  • Basically, the factory cross bars on your 2004 Subaru Baja are not directly compatible with Yakima roof mount accessories like the FrontLoader Wheel Mount Bike Carrier, # Y02103, because of their size and/or shape. But there is a solution. If you wanted the FrontLoader specifically, you would need to add the Inno Square Bar Roof Rack, parts # INB107, # INTR and # INTR104.. You can then add the FrontLoader.

  • Would the Swagman Claw Bike Rack fit in the bed of a 2003 Subaru Baja
  • The Claw Fork Mount Bike Carrier by Swagman would be an excellent choice for a bike rack to mount into the bed of your 2003 Subaru Baja as long as your bed is long enough to accommodate the length of your bikes minus the front wheels.

  • How Much Can a 2005 Subaru Baja Tow
  • The towing capacity of 2005 Subaru Baja is listed as 1,000 lbs for trailers without brakes or 2,400 lbs for trailers with brakes. In order to tow a trailer you will need a trailer hitch like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11280, a trailer wiring harness like the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness part # HM11143875, and a ball mount/hitch ball like the Draw-Tite Drawbar part # 3590 with the 2" Hitch Ball part # 19258 and Pin and Clip part # PC2. • Is the # 11280 Hitch for Subaru Baja The Same as a Dealer Installed Hitch
  • If you have a 2003 to 2007 Subaru Baja, the Curt Trailer Hitch, item # 11280, will fit and should install in basically the same location as an OEM hitch. As far as it being the same hitch that the dealer will install, one cannot be sure. Many dealers save on cost by purchasing aftermarket hitches and installing them rather than installing OEM products. You will need to contact the dealer to see what brand of trailer hitch they will install on your vehicle if you get one from them. Installation...

  • How To Install Hopkins Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole 37185
  • I am happy to help you install the Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole part # 37185 on the 2003 Subaru Baja. If your trailer does not have brakes and you are using the plug as an adapter to adapt your 4-Way to a 7-way then all you would need to do is mount the plug and ground it to a clean bare metal surface of the vehicle's frame. Then plug your existing 4-Way into the pigtail that comes off the plug and your set. if you are wiring in a brake controller you will need to extend the wires...

  • Trailer Wiring 4-Way Harness Recommendation for a 2005 Subaru Baja
  • For your 2005 Subaru Baja there is a trailer wiring option confirmed to fit, but not a T-connector type that would plug inline. Instead you would need to use the hardwire kit part # C56496 that is a universal fit kit that will work on your vehicle. This is the best priced option we carry as well.
