While we have not had a 2023 Toyota BZ4X in our shop to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C92NR, it does not appear it would prevent the operation of the foot activated liftgate sensor. Since the main cross tube sits behind the bumper cover and is hidden the 2" opening portion would be the only portion of the receiver blocking the sensor. While this may limit the area where you can kick your foot it is more than likely not going to eliminate the use of the sensor in my experience.... view full answer...
Our Curt hitch # C92NR that fits your 2023 Toyota BX4X is over-rated for your vehicle so you'd still be limited to the 110 lbs that Toyota has for it. The hitch is designed and independently rated which is why it has a higher capacity than needed. view full answer...

Yes, there is. I checked with our vendors and there is one hitch for a 2023 Toyota BZ4X. It is the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C92NR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Toyota with included hardware.
The Curt item # C92NR is made for accessories only like bike racks and cargo carriers. It has a 200 lbs maximum capacity. I have linked the installation instructions below. view full answer...

I pulled up the owners manual online to try and verify the kick open needing to be disabled and was not able to locate that specifically. But I was able to find that the kick sensor is located behind the lower, center part of the rear bumper.
This would make sense for the kick sensor to be disabled because that is exactly where the receiver of the Curt Rack Receiver # C92NR will sit. Which will block your kick sensor and cause it to not function. My guess would be that Toyota wants the... view full answer...
The Curt Rack Receiver # C92NR for your 2023 Toyota BZ4X can be used for any accessory with a 1-1/4" shank so long as the accessory and its contents don't weigh more than 200 lbs, as that is the tongue weight capacity of the hitch. That said, realistically, it'll be difficult to find a lift (with a 1-1/4" shank) and mobility scooter with such a low weight. But technically, yes, it is possible. view full answer...
Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars like the # RRVA126B-2 will only fit Rhino-Rack feet. Unfortunately, since Rhino-Rack does not make feet compatible with your 2023 Toyota BZ4X the only solution is to sell your old crossbars and completely replace the roof rack. For the Thule WingBar Evo roof rack you will need the following:
-Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711320
-Evo Fixpoint Feet for Thule Evo Crossbars # TH49SC
-Fit Kit for Thule Evo Fixpoint and Edge Fixpoint Roof Rack Feet # TH74CE

Yes, it will! I checked with Curt and their item # C92NR hitch is confirmed to work with all models of the 2023 Toyota BZ4X including the Limited model. You will lose the sensor around the 2" receiver but you won't want to be kicking by it anyways. You'll need to move to the left or right. view full answer...
