If you have a model with raised side rails then you can install a number of different crossbars such as the Malone SteelTop Roof Rack part # MPG202 which is what I recommend. It has square bars which can hold up to 165 lbs. They feature a simply bolt-on install.

I'd recommend going with a Class III hitch like the Curt # C13035. A Class III hitch with a 2 inch receiver will allow both a higher capacity than a Class II like the # 90231, but will also have a much better selection of hitch mounted accessories available, such a cargo carrying trays or bike racks. A Class III is usually not any more expensive than a Class II, so there's really no reason not to go with the alternative that would allow you more options and flexibility.

I did some research on the Coleman Evolution, and it appears that a typical weight distribution system would work just fine with the layout of the tongue. If you have propane bottles on your pop-up, they might interfere with the chain hangers that fit around the top of the trailer frame. You are on the right track but you would actually not need a brake controller as they are for activating trailer brakes and now the brakes of a supplemental braking system in a towed vehicle. The SMI part # SM99251 would cover all of that.

The reason there are hitch classifications is to easily differentiate the different towing capacities for various hitches.
Generally speaking, the higher the hitch classification the higher the weight capacities will be for that hitch. So a Class IV will be stronger than a Class III which will be stronger than a Class II.
