Yes, I would say that is a fair assessment of SumoSprings # SSR-610-47. the capacity is higher as well at 1,500 pounds. And of course it also fits a 2015 Toyota Tundra. Both it and # SSR-610-40 even share the same instructions. view full answer...
For your 2008 Toyota Tundra 4x4, we carry many different models of brake controllers that differ in number of brakes they can operate to various power settings to the type of informational displays are on the unit. However, the 2 main groups brake controllers will fall in are proportional or time-delayed.
Time-delayed brake controllers will activate the trailer brakes at preset intensity and rate of application. These setting are set-up by the driver prior to towing. The upside to these... view full answer...
The main difference when comparing Timbren and SumoSprings for suspension enhancement is going to be the weight capacities. Timbren uses hollow rubber springs that is able to support more weight but they can cause a firmer ride. The SumoSprings are made of a durable microcellular urethane that will progressively increase capacity as the spring is compressed. This will offer a smoother ride as the springs will better absorb the shock but they do not offer the capacity and stability of the... view full answer...
For your 2007 Toyota Tundra, I highly recommend the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TTORTUN4. The Timbren springs will be much more durable than the Air Lift AirCell Custom Helper Springs Kit which was discontinued. The durability will result in more support and a longer life. The Timbren have also produced much greater feedback from our customers and are currently one of the most popular suspension enhancements we carry.
I have attached a review video of the Timbrens... view full answer...
By all accounts the Curt Spectrum Trailer Brake Controller # C51170 works well and is easy to use and install on most vehicles. It is a brand new item so not a lot of feedback has come in on it. I did learn a few things though after speaking with our install team about this controller.
First, compared to the Redarc controller # RED44FR, the Curt Spectrum is easier to install. It can be surface mounted meaning that drilling is not necessarily required (depends on how you run the wiring).... view full answer...
First we have the Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops # T83MR for your 2022 Toyota Tundra. These bump stops allow for the most suspension travel while still absorbing road shock to improve your suspension comfort off road.
The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # T45MR is their standard set of jounce springs. This is the kit you want if you are looking to reduce sag while hauling heavy loads but also still drive without any additional weight at times.
Finally the Timbren Severe Service... view full answer...
The biggest difference between the Timbren and SumoSpring jounce-style springs is that the Timbrens tend to be a bit more stiff which is great for heavier loads but can make the unloaded ride on your 2021 Toyota Tundra a bit more harsh. The SumoSprings tend to have a softer ride which makes them great for occasional cargo loads but they have less of a weight rating.
Since suspension enhancement kits just offer support and don't actually increase your weight capacity it basically boils... view full answer...
The Longview Custom Towing Mirrors # CTM4000 for your 2004 Toyota Tundra Access Cab will have a mirror that is 5-1/2" wide x 4-1/2" tall.
With a universal set like the CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors # 7070-2 the mirrors are 7-1/2" long x 5" tall.
While the larger mirror will give you more to see they are going to end up being less visible at most highway speeds as the larger mirror will tend to get a vibration from the wind hitting the mirror. The custom fit mirror will be more clear... view full answer...
The Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, item # 90885, will work with both standard electric trailer brakes, and electric over hydraulic braking systems. I have attached a link to instructions for you to review.
The Tekonsha PRIMUS IQ Brake Controller, item # TK90160, is not designed to work with electric over hydraulic braking systems, but will work great with standard electric trailer brakes, see instructions link.
The P-3 brake controller is also compatible with both standard electric... view full answer...
If you can't find the brand of step that you've got and you're looking for a replacement pad, then yes; the number of post holes and the spacing between them is going to be a good reference point to determine which nerf bars you've got. You may be able to find a replacement pad that has the same hole spacing but is made by a different manufacturer, so the hole spacing is probably the best place to start.
For reference, the Aries # AA2090139 has posts 3-3/4" from each end and then spaced... view full answer...
We have two front mount hitches that are confirmed to fit your 2008 Toyota Tundra. The Curt 31198 and the Draw-Tite # 65080.
They do have identical specs since they both have a 9,000 pound line pull and 500 pound vertical load. Both have a 2 inch recevier opening. Both bolt to your Tundra's frame and do not require any drilling. The largest difference is going to be the appearance once either is installed. The receiver tube of the Draw-Tite protrudes further forward than the Curt... view full answer...
Tow Ready/Reese has determined that the best way to add a harness, # 118367, to a 2000 Toyota Tundra would be to have an additional connector that is circuit protected and grounded up near the battery. This is more like how a factory harness would be.
The Hopkins harness, # 43365, omits that part. The harness still works it is just not as protected as the Tow Ready harness.
If I has to choose between the 2, I would spend a little more and get the added protection of the Tow Ready harness.... view full answer...
You would need to look at the hardware. The 669ES will have easy snap hardware which will look like the part # 43216 that you referenced.
The 669 would have installation hardware that would look like part # TH04997 instead. view full answer...
The only difference between the BAK Revolver X4s Hard Tonneau Cover part # BAK53ZR and BAK Revolver X2 Hard Tonneau Cover part # BAK39410T for a 2017 Toyota Tundra with 6.5' Bed and Deck Rail System is finish. The X4s has a matte finish whereas the X2 is more shiny. view full answer...
The Curt and Draw-Tite trailer hitches for yoru 2013 Toyota Tundra will be the same part numbers no matter which bumper type you have on your truck.
Curt hitch # C15398 is actually a Class V hitch. There is no Draw-Tite Class V option but the Class IV is # 41935. The Curt hitch is rated much higher at 2,400 pounds tongue weight and 16,000 pounds gross trailer weight which likely exceeds the vehicle's capacities (conuslt owners manual for your trucks capacities). The Draw-Tite hitch is... view full answer...
The main difference between a time delayed brake controller like the Tekonsha PowerTrac # 39523 and a proportional brake controller like the Tekonsha P2 # 90885 is that a time delayed brake controller has no internal parts that sense the braking of the tow vehicle; for this reason they can be mounted on any angle. Proportional brake controllers have internal mechanisms that sense the braking of the tow vehicle and provide a smoother braking compared to a time delayed controller.

When it comes to quality, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, # F2445, has a slight edge over the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs, # AL88299. Both systems will get the job done, but I would go with the Firestone kit if it were my truck. Firestone has been an industry leader for a long time.
I have attached an installation video of the Firestone kit on a 2013 Toyota Tundra that you will find helpful. The installation will be the same on your 2014 model.

There are a few differences between the Camco RV Wooden Sink Covers you mentioned, being their look and construction. Apart from that, they are the same type of sink cover, measuring 15" x 13" with rubber feet that keep the cover in place.
The Camco Oak Accents RV Sink Cover # CAM43431 is made of solid oak and has a gloss finish to protect it.
The Camco RV Wooden Sink Cover # CAM43436 is made of rubberwood (which is a stronger wood than the name implies) and also has a gloss finish. view full answer...
The biggest difference between the Curt front hitch part # 31198 and Draw-tite front hitch part # 65080 is that the Draw-tite receiver tube extends out more than the Curt by over an inch. This makes it more visible when nothing is mounted to it. However, it can also help with clearance. When putting an accessory in the hitch there is less of a chance of it coming in contact with the front of your Tundra.
Other than that, they aren't much different from each other. They have the same... view full answer...
The difference between the discontinued RP66088 and the # RP66084 weight distribution systems is the style of spring bar attachment. The RP66088 system had round bar style spring bars, these spring bars are a bit harder to install and hang a bit lower, closer to the ground, than the Trunnion style spring bars. This system is a bit more economical than the Trunnion style system and would work great for your vehicle and trailer.
The # RP66084 system has the Trunnion style spring bars, that... view full answer...
