Yes! Typically you're looking for a weight distribution system where your tongue weight falls towards the lower end of the tongue weight range of your chosen weight distribution hitch. Because the Equal-i-zer # EQ37140ET has a range of 1,000 to 1,400-lbs, your 1030-lbs tongue weight is in that Goldilocks area that you're looking for, so it will be a great choice for your trailer.
This weight distribution system comes with all of the hardware and parts you'll need to get it installed and... view full answer...
The finish on the Lomax Stance Hard Tonneau Cover # LOM77DR is more of a semi-gloss. The black urethane coating that gives it the rough surface texture removes a lot of the shine from the cover but there is still some there. The overall weight is 74 lbs. view full answer...
The Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Brackets # RP56018-53 are the brackets and rails you need for your 2020 Ram 1500 Bighorn 4x4 with the 6-1/2' bed. The Brackets # RP50054 that you found are for the 2014-2018 Ram 2500 trucks.
This will allow you to use a manual slider like the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30075 or the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550034. The Demco allows you to stay in your truck rather than having to reposition the hitch when you need... view full answer...

I would be happy to clarify that for you! Curt's official stance on the tow hooks is they need to be removed to install their Front Mount Trailer Hitch item # C87FR on your 2021 Ram 1500. We had a customer send in the picture, that you saw, with the tow hooks reinstalled so it is possible but we have no idea how he did it or if this affects the weight capacity. Reinstalling the tow hooks goes against the manufacturer's instructions though so the etrailer answer is no you can not.

Hey Gary,
To install a Curt 5th wheel trailer hitch in the bed of your 2021 Ram 1500 with a 6.5' bed you'll first need some base rails. For this I recommend the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Ram # C16307-204. These will place the first base rail 28 7/8" from the tailgate end of the bed so that the jaws of the hitch sit over the axle to properly handle the weight of the trailer.
Since you have a 6-1/2' bed I highly recommend going with a sliding 5th wheel hitch to give... view full answer...

If the OEM brake controller on your 2014 Ram pickup is operating properly then you don't "need" an aftermarket controller.
With that being said, the OEM controllers aren't as reliable as aftermarket options so it may not be a bad idea. I am not sure how much they charge for labor, but I can say that swapping out the OEM brake controller for an aftermarket option really isn't hard at all. Currently the best controller that we offer is the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED63RR due to the versatility.... view full answer...
The Class III OEM bumper mounted hitches for your 2022 Ram 1500 have a similar design to the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13419 which is a simple 3-bolt installation that attaches to the bumper. It looks really clean but the bumper isn't a heavy-duty towing application so the pressure placed on it from a weight distribution system will be too much for the bolts, but from what I can see I'm not seeing any restrictions on using just sway control so something like the Tuson Asymmetric Sway... view full answer...
Hey Stephane, thanks for reaching out!
I can check on the replacement mounts, but I wanted to reach out first and see if you're installing the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4185 or the Firestone Coil-to-Air-Spring Conversion Kit # F2595 on your 2014 Ram 1500? These install differently on your truck and we don't always have the replacement parts readily available so if you can let me know which one you're installing I can look for those parts for you. view full answer...
Hey Paul,
For your 2023 Ram 1500 you would need the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1319. If you don't already have a 7-way in your bed then I recommend installing the Pollak 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector with 7-Pole # PK11893-11932 as well for an easier hookup. view full answer...

So you can use pretty much any controller in a 2019 Ram 1500 Crew Cab, since it has a factory brake control port. All of the major brands such as Tekonsha, Redarc and Curt all make compatible controllers. Out of all the available options, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR. I like the Redarc Controller because it is easy to use and adjust. Also the controller itself is completely hidden behind the dash. All you will see is a small LED control knob about the diameter of a nickel.... view full answer...
Yes, we do have a receiver hitch for a 2022 Ram 1500 that is perfect for heavy-duty applications. It is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C15005. This hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight of 15,000 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 1,700 lbs. You will want to check with your owners manual or local dealership to confirm that your truck is capable of towing such a high weight. view full answer...
Hello Chris. For your 2022 Ram 1500 Crew Cab with the bare roof I recommend the Yakima Roof Rack # Y37EB. This will come complete with 60" aero bars, towers, and fit kit which will of course be no-drill.
For carrying your canoe I recommend the Lockrack Adjustable Watersport Carrier # LR24VR. I like the LockRack carrier because easily adjustable and like the name suggests, fully lockable. It also requires less straps than most other carriers. I have linked a few of our install/review videos... view full answer...
