I actually have two varieties of the Carr Custom-Fit Side Steps to recommend for your 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500.
The first are the Hoop II variety. They have a 5" drop and a stepping area of 7" long x 3-1/2" wide. If you prefer a polished aluminum look, then you can use part # CARR105772. Both RF- and wired-type proportional Prodigy brake controllers use an accelerometer to detect braking in the tow vehicle in order to send a proportional brake signal to the trailer brakes. Performance wise they would be identical.
