I have a way to install a 7-way on your 2006 Land Rover LR3 but the Hopkins kit you mentioned is for trucks towing fifth wheel trailers so it would not be the correct kit.

None of the hanging style racks like this have the capacity so you'd need to look into a platform rack like the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack # SA4412B which has a 60 lb per bike capacity and would work well for you.
