The Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket,part # RMCB02, will fit most factory crossbars.

You can take a couple of quick measurements to make sure the basket will work for your 2006 Land Rover LR3.

You will want to measure the size of your crossbars. If they measure 3-1/2 inches wide X 1-1/4 inch tall or smaller the # RMCB02 mounts will work just fine. The cargo basket requires the center-to-center spread of the crossbars is between 25 and 44 inches for this to work.

This basket has a weight capacity of 165 lbs and measures 57 inches long, 42-13/16 inches wide, and 5-7/8 inches tall.

To be able to reach the cargo on the top of you roof you might want to check out a tire step like part # HE4040. This slips over the wheel on your vehicle and supports up to 400 lbs. This step fold flat when not in use for easy storage.
