Hey Sandra so we've actually checked with Dometic in the past about seeing if they have replacement foot pedals for the 310 and they do not have that as a replaceable part. Only solution would be to replace the toiled or modify what you have now to get rid of the sharp edges like with a file or sandpaper.

Okay, so there's a number of things you'll need to convert your Keystone travel trailer from drum to disc brakes, and I'll detail how to determine that. You'll need a hub and rotor disc brake kit, though we don't have a way of knowing specifically what hub you have. Since your 2023 Keystone Cougar 24RDS has the MaxTurn Radius front cap you would not have to worry about turning clearance as that front end was designed for short bed turning clearance without requiring a slider. Hey Ken. The AL-KO T44 axle is obsolete and no parts have been made for it since 2015. I do not have a replacement hub for you.
However, based on my research, the AL-KO T-44 axle spindle on your trailer uses the item # L68149 inner bearing and item # LM67048 outer bearing. I recommend verifying this on your trailer by simply pulling the hubs and checking for the numbers that should be stamped onto the bearings themselves.

I would not try to back that off since it is extremely hard to do on self-adjusting brakes. Also, I doubt the brake assembly overadjusted. You can spin it to see if there is excess drag compared to the others but I'm willing to bet the castle nut is overtightened on that hub. This is a common cause for overheating and seems likely based on the work that was recently done. The castle nut should be hand tightened then backed off a quarter turn. view full answer...
