Will 2023 Keystone Cougar 24RDS with MaxTurn Cap/Goosebox Have Enough Turning Clearance with Short B
Question:
I have a 2022 Ram 3500 short bed with a 2023 Keystone Cougar 24RDS 5th Wheel with the MaxTurn Radius front cap. Im interested in switching to a Reese Goosebox with the Gen-Y GoosePuck 5inch offset. Two questions: do you know if with the 5inch offset the Goosebox will stay clear of my tailgate? And any word on the expected turning radius...?

Since your 2023 Keystone Cougar 24RDS has the MaxTurn Radius front cap you would not have to worry about turning clearance as that front end was designed for short bed turning clearance without requiring a slider. So with a Goose Box like the RP85FR and the offset ball part # GY83XR you'd have plenty of turning clearance and you'd never have to mess with a heavy fifth wheel hitch again.
