Question:
Hello, I have a 2010 keystone cougar 326mks. It currently has a king pin hitch, but Id like to buy one of the gen-y or Reese gooseneck hitches, but I cant figure out which one replaces it. Could you help me? Thank you, Eric

To give you the correct selection to choose from I have to know what pin box you have on your 2010 Keystone Cougar 326MKS. This is needed as not every RV is going to always have the same components even if they were built the same day in the same factory. I do know the 1621 was the most commonly used around this time so if you can either provide me with the Lippert tag information on the mounting arms above your pin box I can verify the bolt pattern for the pin box. Otherwise I would need you to measure the width of the pin box along with the bolt hole spread on center that is used to hold the pin box on the mounting arms.
The 1621 bolt pattern is 7-7/8" on center front to back, 2" vertically on center and the box is 12" wide. If this matches what you have the Reese Goose Box # RP94716 with Chains # RP49151 or Gen-Y # GY58GR with Chains # GY49GR would be what you need. For any other bolt pattern please let me know. If you are wondering which pin box would be better I tend to go with the Reese as it is the only one approved by Lippert not to void their frame warranty which your camper has already exceeded due to age.
