I don't see why not; we haven't tried this before so a definitive answer isn't going to be possible here but the Adco 5th Wheel Skirting # 290-3501 just installs with screw-in snap fasteners so it should work fine. view full answer...
Hey Mike, thanks for reaching out!
You'll want to use white lithium grease like the LubriMatic # L11354 for your Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP26FR. We go through the basics of the installations in our videos which is why we don't really address the grease part of the situation.
In the instructions it references using grease or a Lube Plate # RP83002 for the hitch head where the pin box will be making contact with the hitch head. view full answer...
I have a way to use the existing 4-way wiring but you are correct it does involve changing to a 6-pin on your Jeep. In order to add a charge line to your setup the best solution will be to use the Roadmaster 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Kit item # RM-146-7. This kit includes a 6-Way round connector that you will install on your Jeep. You would just need to cut off the existing 4-Way connector and connect the wires to the 6-Way. You won't be able to use your 7 to 4 cable with this set up... view full answer...
I agree and it is available. The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM35GR is the same as the 521463-5. This is compatible with the bumper and winch on your 2024 Wrangler. They even made sure to show a picture of the bumper with the winch in the attached instructions. view full answer...
Yes, the Curt Echo part # C51180 is compatible with the factory 7-way of your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that has a factory 7-way.
Your iPhone can be paired to your Jeep and the Echo at the same time as well. The Echo will not pull up on the dash display of your Jeep though as it does not have that ability. view full answer...
I attached a link to a page that will help you find a local installer for the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer part # RM55VR. I would go with a local RV shop that has a good reputation. view full answer...
That's a good question Mark, and yeah I agree, it would make sense for the screws to be on the bottom when using the Gen-Y Anti-Rattle Clamp for 2-1/2" Hitch Receivers # GY28XR.
It'll work either way, but they're on the top mostly for ease of install. The screws on the bottom are just a bit more difficult to maneuver in the install since you won't really be able to see, but by all means if you want the screws on the bottom of the # GY28XR you most certainly can do that. view full answer...
Hey Robert, we have not had any costumers with your Starcraft Solstice Super Lite come back and let us know that the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 part # LC358590 was extra difficult or required additional steps. I would anticipate that the install for you would be very standard without any weird curveballs. Based on what you mentioned I feel confident you'd be able to handle the install no problem. view full answer...
The best option for your 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 with the service body is a universal-type hitch like the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41990-07.
This is a weld-on installation so you'll need to have an experienced welder help you out with the installation. view full answer...
Terrific question John. Our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e25AR is not going to prevent the use of your hands free liftgate on your 2024 Toyota Venza. Since you will have the 2" receiver opening under the rear fascia it will limit the area you are able to perform the kick motion to get the liftgate to open.
I recommend installing the 4-Way # C59496 when you install the receiver. This will allow you to connect to most small trailers you might tow and to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201... view full answer...
While we do not have an installation video exactly for your 2008 Ford F-250 John, we do have one for a 2008 F-350 which is going to have the connector in the same location on the dash. I have linked the video near the bottom of this page where you can see the connector being accessed around the 4:40 mark in the video. This is where you will connect the Adapter # 3034-P for the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. view full answer...
Eric, yes the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller # C51180 will work just fine with a your 2021 Ford Ranger towing a 4,000 lb trailer. As long as your trailer does not have more than 2 axles, this will work fine. view full answer...
I would be happy to! The best brake controller for your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited is going to be the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness item # RED52VR. This is a proportional brake controller that activates your trailer's brakes when your Jeep decelerates. This the safest and most reliable way to slow your trailer without adding additional stress to your Jeep and trailer.
The reason the Tow-Pro Liberty is the best option is because of its unique... view full answer...
Hi Dana,
Since there isn't a factory brake controller wire harness port you will have to splice into your Silverado's wiring in order to install a brake controller. Which brake controller are you trying to install or have you not purchased one yet?
If you haven't purchased one yet and have a factory 7-way with a round connector then you could go with the Curt Echo In-Line Bluetooth Brake Controller # C79DR. This plugs inline with the 7-way and utilizes an app to adjust your output settings.... view full answer...
Thanks for the pictures and information! To replace your Furrion FWH09AFA you'll want the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater item # FR93FR. This one will allow you to reuse your current controller and door.
I have linked an installation video below to help you get it set up. view full answer...
Hey Gary,
From what we've experienced in our shop you should not have to have the computer flashed when installing an aftermarket brake controller like the Prodigy P3 # 90195. The Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 22292 will make installation quick and easy. view full answer...
I recommend going with the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR for your 2024 Toyota Tundra. This will plug and play into your factory harness with the Adapter # RED49FR providing a clean and easy installation. I prefer the Redarc as it allows you to only have a small dash mounted control knob rather than the large box controller mounted near your legs. view full answer...
Hey Mike I checked with Westin and I can confirm that the Westin HDX Xtreme Nerf Bars item # W45XV do indeed fit the 2021 Ram 1500 Quad Cab. The instructions on their website say crew cab as well. This is pretty common amongst aftermarket part manufacturers. They do not like to update their installation instructions for newer models and fits. view full answer...
Each Buyers Products LED Light Strip # 3375626191 is going to draw roughly 1.3 amps so with a standard 15 amp switch/fuse you'd be able to connect 11 of these lights. It's all really going to depend on the rating of the fuse and switch so you'll want to check the rating of the fuse that you're tapping into and note anything else that's connected to that fuse so that you don't overload it. view full answer...
