So if you measure from the bottom most part of the fascia down to the ground and subtract 1-3/4 inches that will be the approximate ground clearance measurement once the hitch is installed.

Since there are so many different vehicles and they can have so many different configurations it is best to measure for the high-low adapter after the base plates have been installed. Yes, use of the Curt Dual 2-Inch Receiver Tube Adapter # D-192 does reduce your hitch's tongue weight (TW) capacity by half. Towing capacity is not reduced. The 2016 Fit curb weight is between 2513 and 2642-lbs so if your tow dolly's weight does not put you over 3500-lbs you're okay.
