For the Kenda ST235/85/16 Load Range F, # AM10501, it is rated for 3,960 pounds at 110 psi. A different size or manufacturer might have a different psi rating but for this one it is 110. view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at Camco and he informed me that the Camco Propane to Electricity Converter # CAM11673 has an 8 foot long power cord and is not UL approved but does have UL approved components on it such as the switch, wire, and wire connections. view full answer...
The Thule Compass Kayak and SUP Carrier # TH890000 is a great fit for your 2020 Honda Fit. It has a wide mouth to make it easier for loading kayaks. It also has nice adjustability like J-style for one kayak or post-style for two kayaks. I attached a screenshot where Thule gives instructions for installing it on your Thule Wingbar EVO crossbars. You need to use the 80mm bolts included with this carrier to install it onto your bars.
For your older kayak carrier like the Thule Hull-A-Port... view full answer...

First, the Thule Canyon XT # TH859XT doesn't weigh 150 pounds. It has a weight capacity of 150 pounds. The basket weighs 19 pounds. So 165 minus 19 is 146 pounds which is just 4 pounds short of the basket's capacity. Not too shabby. view full answer...
The weight capacity, dynamic or static, of any set of crossbars is limited by the lowest part of the system, usually the roof of the vehicle. You will want to verify the weight capacity of your roof in your owner's manual prior to loading the Inno Crossbars, part # INB127 with part # INSUT. According to my research, the roof is only rated to 100lbs. Your total load, including cargo, crossbars and foot pack all together, will need to be less than this capacity, even though the roof system... view full answer...
The design of the Rampage Trail Can Locking Storage Box # RA86622 would prevent most moisture from getting into the contents of the box. But there isn't any type of moisture seals on the drawers or lid so although it will be fine in the rain I'd avoid submerging it as it isn't waterproof.
It will be basically just as weather proof as a normal truck toolbox.
I attached a review video for more information for you to check out. view full answer...
On Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24920 and all of the hitches for the 2015 Honda Fit the receiver will be directly below the rear fascia. So if you measure from the bottom most part of the fascia down to the ground and subtract 1-3/4 inches that will be the approximate ground clearance measurement once the hitch is installed.
On smaller vehicles that are low to the ground to start with, adding a trailer hitch usually reduces ground clearance so you have to keep that in mind when choosing accessories.... view full answer...
The depth of hitches have a universal standard for their classes. The weld stop in Class I hitches are there to prevent Class II accessories from going into them, which would overload the hitch. Bike racks like the Kuat Sherpa, part # SH12P, are built with this in mind. So, if your bike rack is rated for the same class as your hitch, the only dimension of the hitch's receiver you need to pay attention to is the square size (usually 1-1/4" or 2").

The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 306-X7273 is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Honda Fit. The hitch receiver has an independent tongue weight rating of 300 lbs so that number would be what to go from unless your vehicle would surpass the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating found on the label of the driver's doorjamb. On page 86 of the online owners manual it states this. view full answer...
Unfortunately, the measurement you asked about was not taken in the video of the installation of base plates on the Honda Fit. Since there are so many different vehicles and they can have so many different configurations it is best to measure for the high-low adapter after the base plates have been installed. That way you are sure to get the right high-low adapter for your specific installation.
I have attached a photo of the # 521190-1 base plates installed on a 2012 Honda Fit. You may... view full answer...

I can't tell you the approximate inside length but I can tell you the EXACT inside length of the chain links on Safety Chain with Clevis Slip Hook # 1483-535-04. The opening is 1.27 inches long by 0.60 inches wide. view full answer...
The thickness of the platform on the Curt Class I Drawbar # C45021 where the hitch ball is installed is about 5/8". I have attached a photo to demonstrate this and you can see this referenced in the attached review video.
For a 2" hitch ball you can use part # C40018 or for a 1-7/8" hitch ball you can use part # C40001. If you don't already have a pin and clip the part # F-4 is perfect for this application. view full answer...
The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 306-X7273 weighs roughly 29-lbs, so it's really not going to add any more weight than a load of groceries or some personal cargo would in most cases. You're not going to see any type of improvement in handling or stiffening of the body though since it's not making any structural improvements to the vehicle frame.
If you're going to be towing with this hitch you'll also need a wiring harness, ball mount, hitch ball, hitch pin... view full answer...
You can indeed flip the orientation of the ARK # AR44FR articulating coupler so it's used in the rise position. When used in the rise position, you'll have right at a 2-3/4 inch rise. I've linked to a product description video featuring the ARK # AR44FR off-road Coupler. view full answer...
The EcoHitch hitch for a 2010 Honda Fit, part # 306-X7286, has a 300 pound tongue weight capacity. This means that the combined weight of the bikes and bike rack must not exceed 300 pounds. Both the tongue weight and trailer weight capacities are listed in the instructions for the hitch that I have linked below.
I would also check the vehicle owner manual to see what the tongue weight capacity of the Fit is. If it is less than 300 pounds, you must abide by the vehicle figure. When towing,... view full answer...
Yes, use of the Curt Dual 2-Inch Receiver Tube Adapter # D-192 does reduce your hitch's tongue weight (TW) capacity by half. Towing capacity is not reduced. The 2016 Fit curb weight is between 2513 and 2642-lbs so if your tow dolly's weight does not put you over 3500-lbs you're okay.
Since the tow dolly carries the weight of the car's front end, there is really very little actual TW from the dolly put on the adapter or hitch. The weight of the bike rack and the loaded bikes does count... view full answer...
Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Platform Rack Item # KU74FR accepts tires up to 3 inches wide right out of the box. Using the Phat Bike Adapter Kit for Kuat Bike Racks Item # APBK increases it to 4-1/2 inches.
To be clear the wheel cradles as they come will hold up to a 4-1/2 inch tire but the included straps are not long enough to secure anything over 3 inches in width. If the tires are between 3 and 4-1/2 inches then you would need the adapter. view full answer...
