I wouldn't attempt to put a rubber mat between the truck bed and the base of the Demco Recon hitch part # DM8550045 as that would diminish how much the bed supports the hitch by the base and would put more stress on the center post attachment. Realistically would it cause problems? That's hard to say but the potential is there so I would not go for it. view full answer...
Steve, the Westin Custom Fit Truck Bed Mat # 50-6415 will work great with your truck but with you having the pucks in your bed you'd need to cut out holes in the liner so you can use them. view full answer...
Hey Jeff, the WeatherTech ImpactLiner Custom Truck Bed Mat # WT99KF would get secured to your bed using the TechHold Retention Device (see image attached) which is just a adhesive ball and socket.
Basically, one the ball end would get stuck to the inside of your truck bed behind the mat, and the socket side would snap the cover to the ball from the other end, sort of sandwiching the two together. view full answer...
Really good question Dave, and I can tell you that a bed mat will not interfere with the installation of the Gen-Y Hitch Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Ford OEM Puck Systems # GY43XR.
In fact, we installed the # GY43XR in an F-350 with a rubber mat, and I'll go ahead and link that below so you can see that it will work for you. view full answer...

Hey David,
As long as your BedRug bed liner doesn't block the factory anchor points you'll be able to install the Truck Trolley Truck Bed Slide Out Tray # TR87VR. If it does you can just cut out the liner around the anchor points to make it work. view full answer...
The mounts for the TracRac Contractor Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TA14750 fasten to the top of the bed rail. You would have to remove the entire assembly rather than only removing the top portion of the rack.
You will want to consider the DeeZee Customizable Truck Bed Ladder Rack # DZ95053 as these with the upper tubes removed will sit below the to of your bed rails. view full answer...
I'd say no, Dan. The Pollak 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector with 7-Pole # PK11893-33-32 is designed to work with standard trucks that have full access to the truck bed since this creates a plug in the bed. With your truck having an in-bed camper, there'd be no space for a 7-way socket. view full answer...
Hey Tom,
If you're hauling both a truck-bed camper and trailer with brakes then you'll need a 7-way socket both in the bed and at the rear of your truck. If you can give me the year/make/model of your truck I can look up the correct in-bed 7-way harness for you. view full answer...
Yes, technically the camper needs to hang over truck bed rails for the Brophy Heavy Duty Cable Camper Jacks - 67" Max Lift Height - 4,000 lbs # CJ31 to get under the camper and lift it up properly. This should be self-explanatory, but if the camper doesn't fit the truck bed properly and doesn't overhang the proper amount, then the jack would be too close inside and possibly hit the truck tires. view full answer...
Hello Avis. When installing fifth wheel rails in the bed of a 1996 Ram short bed, the rails will be installed so that the fifth wheel hitch head is centered over the rear axle. It is recommended that the King pin be centered over the rear axle, or it can be up to 3" ahead towards the cab of the truck. I have included a screenshot from the instructions to illustrate this.
I have also included links below with the instructions for the B&W Rail Kit # BWRVR3200 and the Demco Rail Kit # DM8552009-71... view full answer...
Hey David. The BedSlide # BE26ER that you were looking at is actually for trucks with the 8' bed. For your 2014 Ram 1500 with the 67.2" bed you will want the following:

It will fit right between the wheel wells and it basically bolts to the bed of the truck using the included hardware. I have linked our video review for this tray below. I am afraid we do not have any additional discounts to offer beyond... view full answer...
