The best places to look for capacity information for your 2018 BMW X5 are the owner's manual in the towing section and the sticker in the driver's side door jamb that also lists the tire pressure. Normally I would look these things up myself but with BMW you have to have a VIN number to see the owner's manual pdf files.
Technically if the vehicle can tow 6,000 pounds and the trailer weighs 6,000 pounds you are within capacity. But there is no room for a miscalculation. And the trailer... view full answer...
The Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # SH85VR has a max tongue weight of 600 lbs when using the 2" receiver. This means the hitch will be able to handle your motorcycle and carrier without any issues. It looks like the 2016 BMW X5 xDrive35i tongue weight capacity is also enough to handle this weight but I recommend verifying this with the owner's manual. You will be limited by whichever capacity is lower.

Yes, the Curt Class III hitch part # 13077 that fits your 2018 BMW X5 does have more than enough tongue weight capacity for the weight of your Vespa and hitch motorcycle carrier. view full answer...
I have a solution for you but the Yakima Halfback has been discontinued. Instead, I recommend the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack item # Y02634 for your 2015 BMW X5. The only difference between the FullBack 2 and the HalfBack 2 is that the FullBack comes with an integrated cable lock and locking strap that deters the theft of both your bikes and the rack itself. This two bike rack has a 35 lbs per bike capacity.

The Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite item # DT36GR is only listed as fitting the standard model of the 2010 BMW X5 because of the rear fascia and trim added to the rear of the M models. You would have to make significant cuts in your rear bumper area to get the receiver to attach to the rest of the hitch.
The only hitch that is confirmed to fit the 2010 BMX X5M is the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver item # SH29VR. view full answer...
I do have a solution for you. The compatible EcoHitch for your 2017 BMW X5 depends on if you have the M performance model.
If you do not have the M performance model, you need the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit - Custom Fit - 2", part # SH85VR. This trailer hitch has a maximum tongue weight of 600 lbs with the trailer hitch or 800 lbs with the ball mount. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 8,000 lbs.
With the M perfomance model you will need the Stealth... view full answer...
Wheels, like the Dexstar Wheel # AM20539 that you referenced, actually have a weight rating as opposed to a psi rating. Tires have a psi rating because it corresponds to the weight rating for the tire.
For example, the Kenda Karrier # AM10303 is a load range E tire meaning that it has a max load of 2,830 lbs at 80 psi. The aluminum wheel that you referenced, part # AM20539, has a weight capacity of 2,860 lbs. Since you will always be limited by your lowest rated component, if either... view full answer...
The weight capacity of the roof rack needs to be at least 165 lbs for Yakima's Roof Top Tents # Y07437 and then the tent has a capacity of 600 lbs. When the vehicle is standing still the weight capacity is what the tents capacity is. This measurement will depend on what tent you decide to go with and what its regulations and capacities are.
After you figure the weight of the contents in the tent you will still need to check with the owners manual of your 2010 BMW X5 to see what the roof... view full answer...
The Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack - Aero Crossbars - Raised, Factory Side Rails - Aluminum - 65" Long, part # MPG217, has 65" crossbars. You can measure the distance between the raised rails on your 2005 BMW X5 and subtract that amount from 65" and divide by 2. That will give you the approximate overhang of your crossbars beyond the tower.

Square mounting holes are usually associated with carriage bolts which have a square shoulder on them which prevents them from spinning while the nut is tightened.
On the Angle bracket # T4821800 that you referenced it looks like the round hole side of the bracket is used to attach to the actuator and the side with the square holes would attach to a portion of the trailer frame. view full answer...
When Stealth Hitch did the engineering work and testing for the # AABRKT-3056 hitch, they determined that the weight capacity of the hitch was 8000 lbs. This could be limited by the capacity of the vehicle, if its less. When I looked through the owner's manual, 7209 lbs was the highest towing capacity I saw listed.
It's not uncommon for a trailer hitch to have a higher capacity than the vehicle, in fact it happens frequently.

In order to add a 5-way harness to your X5 you'll need to use the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter item # C57187 with a 4-way connector like the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter item # C59236 you were looking at. I am sorry but they don't make vehicle specific 5-way wiring harnesses which is why you need the adapter.
If your vehicle has a 7-way connector you will want to use the Wesbar Adapter item # 707250. view full answer...
When choosing a jack, you will want to choose a jack that can support the tongue weight of your boat trailer and a jack that has an appropriate lift height for your trailer. Typically, the tongue weight on boat trailers does not exceed 15 percent of the gross trailer weight. Be sure you verify the tongue weight capacity of your trailer before selecting a jack.
I have included a FAQ article about measuring tongue weight for you to check out.
If you still have your old jack, you can go... view full answer...
I've got some good news! The head of the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System # C17499 only weighs about 32-1/2lbs, so it's going to be quite a bit lighter than the heavier duty WD systems. The TruTrack systems do not come with a hitch ball included so you would need one with a 1-1/4" shank diameter like the # A-90 (2" hitch ball) or # 19286 (2-5/16" hitch ball) to complete the setup. view full answer...

The Pollak Metal 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector part # PK12702 is 2-3/4" long from the face to the rubber boot on the back. This is currently the shortest trailer connector we offer so if you still do not have enough room you might want to consider moving the frame bracket for the weight distribution system just a bit. The frame brackets usually have a range that they can be installed in rather than a set point anyhow. view full answer...

Both the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver item # SH64MR and item # SH89VR are confirmed to fit the 2020 BMW X5's with the M-package. The only difference is that Item # SH89VR fits the X5's that do not have the M-package. Other than that they are identical and include everything you need to mount an accessory like a bike rack or cargo carrier with your BMW. I recommend going with the most cost effective option.
