Recommended Roof Rack for a 2023 BMW X5

Hi I For my 23 BMW X5 Just one more question. If I were to get the 60” Yakima tails for certain purposes can I also order just the 50” bars only. Can the bars be changed out easily once I have everything installed. I like the look of the open air bars better than the flush mounts. Hope I make sense. Lol. ??

I checked with Yakima and yes, you can definitely swap out crossbars to adjust the look. The 50" Yakima JetStream Crossbars item # Y00425 will work with the legs and fit kit for the recommended Yakima roof rack set up we have listed for your 2023 X5. I have listed the other parts you will need below including the 60" crossbars:

I recommend adding the Yakima Same Key System item # Y07204 to your roof rack set up. These 4 lock cores will help prevent theft. We have these cores in 6 packs item # Y07206 and 8 packs item # Y07208 if you already have some Yakima accessories you want to match up keys with the roof rack.
