I have a solution for you but the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C13146 does not fit the 2022 Acura MDX it fits the previous model years. For your 2022 MDX you will need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C22HR. This hitch receiver is custom fit and designed specifically for your vehicle. I recommend looking at the Stainless Steel Locking, Anti-Rattle Threaded Hitch Pin for 2" Trailer Hitches # SR25219, which is going to give you the security you need and does a great job at eliminating rattle on hitch mounted accessories. There really isn't an inconspicuous locking hitch pin, but the black lock body on this pin does a fairly good job of blending in with your hitch.

Since you have a 4-Flat connector on your 2004 Acura MDX right now you can use the Hopkins Adapter, part # 37185 to install a 7-Way connector. The best way to determine the size of bearing buddy needed would be to take a highly accurate measurement of your hub bore using a digital caliper. I have edited a photo for you that shows this dimension.
