Question:
I have a flat 4 trailer connection from etrailer. The installation is so easy. Thank you for the providing this great product. Now, I want to install this 7 pin connector. How do I do that? to the rear fuse box? Thanks.

I didn't find any order history for wiring for your 2008 Acura MDX but if you do have a 4-pole kit installed such as one of the compatible items like # C56038 shown on the linked page then we sure can help you with upgrading that wiring format to the 7-way type like # HM40975-11998.
The one item you will use is our 7-Way install kit # ETBC7. This all-inclusive kit has everything you need, from the 7-way socket to the wiring, connectors and circuit breakers. This will give you a fully-functioning 7-way connector with all the additional circuits for trailer brakes, 12V trailer power and reverse lights.
I linked both a helpful article and video showing the complete installation process for the # ETBC7.
