Hi everybody, my name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at the SteelHead LED Spot Beam Work Light. If you're looking for a rugged, heavy duty work light, that is going to give you focus beam of light to see things at a distance This might be a good light for you to consider. Let's take a closer look at it together. Now this light will light up your industrial, agricultural and your recreational situations. It's gonna be great to mount on your work trucks, utility vehicles and fishing boats.

Now while we're here, let me give you a brief demonstration of what this looks like lit up. I do have it connected to 12 volt power, and as you can see, these diodes give you a nice, bright white light. Let me go ahead and turn my studio lights off, and you can see that beam that it gives. Zoom out here a little bit and shoot this on my wall behind me. And it has just a really nice focused beam, and this is really gonna help you see things farther away at night.

Now, this does have a light output of 1100 lumens, and these LEDs are premium and they're energy efficient, and they're gonna be long lasting, and resist vibration as well. I've got my studio lights back on here, so again, kind of gives you an idea just how bright this is even with my lights on. Let me go ahead and turn the power off for this light so I don't continue to blind you. And these LED's are gonna be sealed in a waterproof housing and lens unit. And this is gonna be a clear lens over white LEDs.

And it has an IP rating of 68, so that's gonna be great for resisting dust, and sand and dirt. And it's gonna be able to resist severe weather conditions as well, making this light just very nice, very rugged and you're not gonna have to worry about water getting into this light. To add to the durability of this light, the circuit board is of a military grade construction, and the urethane potting offers a better protection than the common epoxy potting in controlling the heat transfer of the inside of the light. This also has thermal regulation that's going to protect against overheating. And you can see, this has a durable white powder coated aluminum housing, and so that aluminum housing is gonna be lightweight, durable.

But it's also gonna resist rust and corrosion, and that powder coat is going to assist with that as well. Now again, if I haven't already mentioned it, this does have a light output of 1100 lumens, it is rated for up to 50,000 hours of operation. This is gonna be compatible with 12 volt, and 24 volt DC systems. This does come with hardware for installation. It's gonna come with a stainless steel bracket and single bolt installation to give you that pedestal style mount. And once you have this mounted, the light will be adjustable. So that's, again, another nice feature that this light provides. This is a hardwire installation. Your white wire is gonna be power, black wire is going to be ground. Let me give you some overall measurements of this light. Measuring from the outermost, the widest point sections of this light, we're gonna be sitting right under 3", maybe right at about 2 7/8" across. And then looking at how tall this light is, let me begin by first including the base of this bracket that's gonna come with this light. We're gonna be sitting right at 4" tall overall, including the base of that bracket. And then if you don't include that bracket, you're gonna be sitting right at 2 7/8", right under 3" tall if you're just measuring the light itself. And then regarding how deep this light is, we're gonna be sitting right at, get to the widest point there, or the deepest point there. We're gonna be sitting right at 2" deep. And then measuring the included wire, we're gonna be sitting right at 10" on that wire. Now this has a input voltage of 9 to 30 volts, and the power draw at 12 volts, is going to be 0.66 amps. And at 24 volts, it is gonna be 0.33 amps. Now if you're interested in this light but you would prefer a different color, we do have the same light available In a black powder coat.
