Raw Lumens vs. Effective Lumens
Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. This light has a 1,800 raw lumen capacity and produces 707 effective lumens.

Today, we're going to review part number TLL46TB. This is the Optronics Opti-Brite LED spotlight. This is the 9-diode design with a square shape. This LED utility light is perfect for agricultural, industrial or recreational use. The spotlight design of this light will concentrate the light beam in a trapezoid shape so it is a trapezoidal light design. It has long lasting LEDs which are great replacements for your incandescent lights.
They're more efficient and they provide a brighter light with less power draw and there's no bulbs to replace and no brittle filaments to break. The rectangular face on this adjust forward and back just like this. Pretty easy aiming. It is a low profile design for tight spaces. The housing itself is a rust proof aluminum housing which is also black powdered coat finish.
If you notice the way it's designed, it is like in fins so the air flowing through there help cool the light. The front has a tough polycarbonate lens which is impact resistant and it is made of the same material used to make bulletproof glass. The stainless steel pedestal mount bracket here and the nuts and bolts and the hardware are all included for you and helps resist corrosion. The slide is a dual powered light so it will work with 12 volt and 24 volt DC systems. You notice coming out the back is a single wire sheet which will contain two wires, the white wire for the ground, the black wire which is the lead wire for the 12 volt power. When this comes on, it gives of a trapezoidal design.
The trapezoidal lights has a medium range visibilities so they are ideal work lights because of its narrow pattern is more focused than a flood light. The flood light will actually spread the light out but is less focused than the spotlights. The flood lights will provide a short range wide visibility. They're a good option for general work but normally this type of trapezoidal or spotlight, it gives you the narrow light which is good to use with a spotlight. I do want to give you a few dimensions on this. The overall width on this is 5 inches wide.
The height on this is 4 1/2 inches tall and the depth at the widest point is 2 3/8 inches. Now the length of this wire sheet coming out the back is 10 inches. The wires that are used are 19 gauge wire and again it's the 9-diode design. It comes with a three year warrant. The effective lumen output on this light is 1,350 lumens. What I'm going to do here is I'm going to hook up. I have a alternate 12 volt power source. I'm going to hook up a 12 volt power to it just to give you an idea of the design of the slide and the power of it. We'll hook up the power. We'll hook up the ground. What we'll do is go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. With the overhead lights off, I'm going to turn on the 12 volt power and you'll be able to see the trapezoid design of this light. This is a spotlight. I'm going to go ahead and turn off the power. We'll go ahead and turn the headlights back on. Remove the clips. That should do it for the review on part number TLL46TB. This is the Optronics Opti-Brite LED spotlight, the 9-diode design in a square shape. .

Appears to be a well made outdoor quality light fixture with good quality mounting/attaching hardware thoughtfully included by the manufacturer. Rated for both 12 and 24 volt applications. Flood beam provides good general work area lighting with low current draw. We plan to use them predominantly for quick and easy portable indoor lighting during power failures.

I installed these on the back of my boat trailer and hooked them up to my reverse lights for launching my boat in the dark. I wanted an extremely bright flood so I could see both sides and the down the center. Just wonderfully bright and dependable a year later as when new.

I replaced a halogen external light fixture on my horse trailer with this model LED light fixture several months ago. It is brighter, instant on and lower energy usage which are all positives especially for the battery when the trailer is disconnected. I ordered 2 more to replace the other external halogen light fixtures on my horse trailer. Good lighting is especially important when you need to access your trailer with your horse after sundown. Also easy to install.

I already owned this particular brand of LED light so I pretty much knew what I was getting. In my usage they have been better than average. No problems to speak of. I use them on all of our trucks.

I bought the earlier version of this light several years ago to replace an incandescent work light on our horse trailer. It worked brilliantly until I pressure washed it. (Note to self: Don't pressure wash the work light!) I purchased the Opti-Brite LED Work light to replace the one I drowned. This one also works brilliantly! It has an improved mount as well as being even easier to install. I highly recommend it!

I ordered two of these for headlights on a 36 volt electric golf cart. These things are brighter than a lot of car headlights and have great range. If i ever need anymore for back up lights or work lights on my truck i will be ordering these. I have been using them for over a year and they still work great. I have been ordering from etrailer for about 5 years now and let me tell you there is no better company or staff to deal with.

Good product, very bright with low amperage. Bought these for my horse trailer to replace my prep area and ramp load area lights.
Install is easy but on horse trailers where just the thin steel sheet is used, the square backing of the bolt protrudes through the bracket and won't tighten fully, leaving some wobble and play that is not acceptable for horse trailer exterior. a thick lag bolt washer did the trick.
Also, for an 'area' light, this is not the most ideal. it's extremely bright but a tighter beam than i would have liked. Meaning, mounted 8 feet off the ground, there is a very tight 5 feet long by 2 or 3 feet wide strip of really bright, around the saddle on our horse. i was expecting something like a 7 x 5 or more given the shape of the light. picked based on lumens, but beam angle was not presented. would be good info.
Overall 4 stars, really just because of the narrow beam.

I purchased the lights to replace the headlights on our forklift because I was tired of replacing bulbs every couple of weeks, but once they were on we realized how much better the LED lights are. They light up the whole area in front of the lift and no more replacing bulbs. Great product at a great price.

Could be a tad brighter, but have it on a remote switch on the back of my cargo trailer from my truck and aids in backup and lighting when loading my trailer at night. Great product!

The best light to use when it's dark! I used these lights on my off-road camping trailer and they work! It was dark at night and this can be a real problem, so I installed these lights and I could see at night. Super great price for an inexpensive solution. The mounts are real simple with a nut and bolt for the up and down and a carriage bolt and nut for mounting. Easy!

- Amperage Draw For Optronics Opti-Brite LED Spotlight # TLL46TBThe Opti-Brite LED Spotlight, part # TLL46TB is a 9 diode LED spotlight that produces up to 707 lumens. This is a dual power light that you can use with either 12V or 24V systems. On a 12V system the amperage draw is 1.50 amps and for a 24V system the amperage draw is .73 amps. This is a spotlight so the light will be projected forward much like a headlight does, whereas a flood light has a broader beam of light and typically projects light for a shorter distance.
