Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Counteract Hub Hero cleaning brush for large trucks and RVs. Now, it is necessary to clean all threaded and mating surfaces of a wheel assembly to ensure proper clamping force is achieved. This part here will clean surface rust and debris on mating surfaces of wheels, hubs, drums and rims. This is a Hub Hero cleaning brush.
Works with the stud cleaning tool, part number SPCT22, that we do sell separately on our website. And it works with that tool to easily clean the wheel hubs on your vehicle or trailer, trailer. Now, I did wanna pull that stud cleaning tool just to show you how this installs in it. But this is the part number SPCT22. Basically, right here, you can see it uses this quick change hub cleaning insert.
Basically, you can see right here, if you just push on those two levers there, that'll let you insert it. Twist it and that locks into place. And you can tighten it down with these set screws. And then when you go to remove it, just loosen the set screws, push in on those two areas where the tabs are, and you can easily remove it. Now, this stud cleaning tool, as you can see, has an adapter on the end.
And it does, requires a handheld drill or a Counteract air driver, which we sell separately on our website. It's part number CA39FR. But once you install it into that drill or air driver, then you'll be able to turn it, pull the trigger, and that'll twist that brush and do the cleaning for you. This does clean mating surfaces on stud sizes 3/4 of an inch, which is also 18 millimeters, 13/16 of an inch, which is 20 millimeters, and 7/8 of an inch, which is 22 millimeters. It is a nice, abrasive cleaning pad, which will quickly remove surface rust and debris.
And it is aluminum oxide-infused construction. And it does include one cleaning brush. So again, just to pop it out of there, just like that. But that should do it for the review on the Counteract Hub Hero cleaning brush for large trucks and RVs..
