6,000-lb Capacity. These hollow rubber springs sit above the rear axle to help stabilize and level your Toyota Tundra. Becomes more rigid as more weight is added for great performance when you're hauling a heavy load.

Specs:
Whether you're hauling heavy loads in your bed or cargo area or you're towing a trailer, you will often see the rear of your vehicle sag while the front end rises. In these cases, the rear axle is handling not only the weight of the cargo, but also more of the vehicle's weight. Because less weight is on the front axle, the front tires are making less contact with the road. Overall handling - traction, steering, and braking - is negatively affected. But the resistance from Timbren's Suspension Enhancement System works with your factory suspension to keep your vehicle level and improve your driving experience.
The Timbren system comes with custom-fit brackets that are bolted onto each frame rail above the rear axle. Hollow rubber springs are bolted to the bottom of the bracket and hang down to where the bottom of the spring sits, 1" above the axle. The inch of clearance allows the existing factory suspension to operate normally under light loads and standard terrain, ensuring the smooth, comfortable ride that you are used to.
Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems are designed to work progressively. When the hollow rubber springs are compressed, the convoluted design causes them to quickly collapse along the folds. Once the folds are compacted, the stacked barrel shape increases resistance, stiffening the suspension and keeping your vehicle level.
Each hollow rubber spring works independently to support the driver's side or passenger's side of your vehicle. This is helpful when you swerve or make sharp turns. Each spring is activated when it is needed, so body roll is greatly reduced. The independent action also works well when you are hauling off-center loads.
Because the vehicle handles better with the springs, less turbulence will be passed along to the trailer, and this helps to keep the trailer in line. Your driving comfort is further enhanced if the trailer does begin to sway (from a gust of wind or a passing semi), because the movement from the trailer is not transferred to your vehicle. This also works to make the sway subside more quickly.
Another great feature of the rubber construction is that the springs absorb most of the road shock, creating a smoother, more stable ride overall. Wear and tear on the factory suspension is also lessened because the rubber springs work to prevent bottoming out on rough roads.
Timbren's Suspension Enhancement Systems are much easier to install than air springs - there are no air hoses to run, no compressors or gauges to hook up, and no manual adjustments to make. The rubber construction makes Timbren's springs more elastic than similar products constructed of microcellular urethane. And more elasticity allows for a more comfortable ride because the rubber has more travel.

6,000-lb Capacity. These hollow rubber springs sit above the rear axle to help stabilize and level your vehicle. Becomes more rigid as more weight is added for great performance when you're hauling a heavy load.Pros: Cheaper and easier to install than airbags, do the job when load is enough to compress the shock, with added weight or towing, then it stiffens the rear very nicely.
Cons: Doesn't do anything until there is 2-3cm of compressed shock. It sits above the contact point, doesn't touch. Under normal driving, there is no benefit/improved stiffness/anti sway in rear or a leveling of the factory rear sag in a 2022 or newer Toyota Tundra.
If had it to do over, would have put some kind of spacer in between product and upper included bracket, the supplied bolt is long enough to accommodate, to eliminate the gap, and lift the rear 1-2 cm. Should do it anyway, maybe when swapping to summer wheels next month.
First off the product was beat up with paint/power coating missing in several places on both. I was putting on a brand new truck with less than 800 miles on it so I elected to touch up before install. I’ve hear a lot about Timbren but never had them. I had airbags on my F350 but when I switched to a new Tundra I went with Timbrens. I’m a bit disappointed in the ride. Feels like I can feel a “bump” in the truck from the rubber pick hitting the axle when I go on a bumpy road. Thinking I should have went with airbags. As far as having a load on the truck and helping with the squat, they do as they are advertised.
Product arrived 2 days earlier than expected but due to lack of care for packing metal items one of the metal brackets has chipped paint as per photo. Some of the pieces appear to be previously used.
The TIMBREN SES was the best solution for my problem! They offer a progressive amount of spring support that was exactly what I needed when towing. They are maintenance/adjustment free and do not affect ride quality when I am not towing. Additionally, the support of the SES has taken a good amount of stress off of my E2 WDH. When under load, the SES makes my 1/2-ton Tundra ride/feel more like a 3/4-ton truck. I could not be happier, and I would highly recommend this system over airbags on 1/2-ton trucks.

2022 Toyota Tundra w/o Airbags.

My trailer, truck and I are getting beat up with these installed. They are getting removed now that we have arrived home. Would like to return if possible...

I see that the springs have been returned and honestly this is something that can happen with this spring. While it is a well made product, the stiffness of the rubber does not allow for a lot of give. So am empty truck will be rougher. I say for your 2024 Toyota Tundra to give the Hellwig EZ-990 Helper Springs part # HE49XR a look as long as the Tundra has leaf springs that are not composite leaf springs. They have a 2000 pound load leveling capacity. They are adjustable and have a bolt on design.
I’ve install a lot of parts on vehicles in my time, this was the easiest install I’ve ever done. I have a 2023 Toyota Tundra SR5. After assembly of the SES, I used a 12mm pass through ratchet to remove the old small bump stop and reinstall the Timbren SES. I left the tires on and did not Jack my truck up. Less than 30 minute install. I purchased the SES to decrease sag when I tow my 28 ft RV. This product was significantly cheaper than installing air bags and the quality of the produce is significantly better than the original bump stops from the factory. I’m very happy with this purchase, from ease of install to purformance, I couldn’t ask fore better.
I purchased a similar pair for my 2016 Ram, they worked just as well on my 2022 Tundra. They do a great job of preventing the suspension from squatting too much, but doesn't interfer with the suspension when there is no load.
I just installed Timbren's on my new Tundra TRD, and they are great. I had an initial challenge when the wrong product was shipped, but the staff at etrailer were great about sending me the correct product and responding to my contacts. Thanks for your great service. Dan
I recently purchased a 2024 tundra hybrid platinum. With this being the luxury addition the rear suspension is lacking when in comes to towing when I would hook to my 7x16 enclosed trailer my truck really saved.
I purchased and installed the timbren ses stops and no more sag. The ride of my truck remains smooth when unloaded and the timbrens also stopef the side to side rocking. Will post another after I tow a few times.
You sent me the 2 right ones, they have to be more careful, I wasted a lot of time, when you send me the left one I'll change the review!

Absolutely! It looks like our customer service team is already aware of your situation and is working on getting the correct left side sent out to you ASAP.
These work really well with the coil springs on my 22 Tundra, I'm really impressed with how strong these springs are, on purpose I hooked up to a trailer I no business hooking up just to see how much squat there would be, once they made contact there was no squat at all! I put them to the test by hauling my 9400lb travel trailer from Arizona to Iowa. They worked well with my weight distribution hitch for effortless towing. Very easy to install. I save time by not having to adjust air pressures after hooking up to a trailer, hook up and go! I was on the fence with air suspension and the timbrens, George from etrailer listened to my situation and recommended that these would be the best fit, he didn't steer me wrong.
I’ve ordered a lot of things from this company over the years and they are always very helpful and very prompt the timbren suspension blocks have always worked great for me I’ve bought many sets over the years very easy to install
Perfect fit for my 2024 Toyota Tundra rear suspension. I tow a trailer every weekend and after installing this rear suspension suppport upgrade, no more squat or swag on truck bed
Very great Product! Very easy to install, fixed my squatting problem on my truck.
These made an incredible difference in towing my RV! Before and after pictures
They were fairly easy to install. I am looking forward to putting a load on my Tundra to see how it handles 7200 lbs of RV trailer now.
Great product good price exactly what we expected and instructions made for ease of a inatalation.
I install these to eliminate the sag when I hook up my cargo trailer. Some people say The back end bounces when empty. I haven't had that problem, if anything the ride seems better. I don't get that dribble effect going over close bumps as bad as before I installed the timbrens. I installed them on a 2022 toyota tundra.
KEEPS TRUCK LEVEL WITH HEAVY LOADS, NO PROBLEMS, EASY INSTALL
Installed in a few minutes no need to remove the tires. Fixed most of the squatting of a 22 Tundra.
This is NOT a substitute for airbags. My truck is a 2022 Tundra and I let them know that my truck is lifted 3” and Timbren claims the kit works for that situation. That’s simply untrue as my truck sagged 2” with a 500 lb snowmobile in the back. Same issue as before Timbren were installed. THEN Timbren sent me a 2” spacer. The truck still sagged 1” in the rear and then the ride was bouncy and just very lackluster. DO NOT buy these as an airbag replacement. They are simply bump stop extensions and you’ll be riding on bump stops at full load. Not cool. And on top of that Timbren even told me my truck would be bouncy and uncomfortable while off roading. This was not mentioned to me by Etrailer and it’s a complete dealbreaker. Oh on top of all this, the kit reduces my rear suspension travel by having the steel 2” spacer. Please, someone tell me if I’m wrong or missing something here but I’d rather pay triple and get a real solution like Firestones or another brand of airbags.

If you are using these for daily heavy duty use, then they should work perfect. However, if you are only occasionally pulling heavy duty trailers, we do recommend some airbags instead.
Shipping was fast and customer service was responsive in keeping track of order . Looking to install them tomorrow before a road trip!
Install was a breeze, can't wait to tow our camper with these babies on the Tundra
Never showed up in time.
The Timbrens have helped my suspension on my new Tundra while towing my travel trailer exactly as I hoped, no more squatting. I have not noticed any change in the ride quality while under no load.

There's a lot to unpack here. First things first, I am very sorry that the package arrived in such a bad condition. You did exactly what you should have by painting over the chips/scrapes. Not only does it help keep the aesthetic of the new truck, but it will also help prevent any rust or corrosion on the brackets in the future. Let's get you a paint credit for the inconvenience started. Okay, now onto the Timbrens. Timbrens are great suspension enhancement systems. Generally, I would only suggest using Timbrens if the vehicle is holding the weight consistently. Like, if you have a snow plow or truck camper that is attached daily. Otherwise, when they are not in use, the ride will be very rough; just like the experience you are having. If you are needing a suspension enhancement system for a vehicle that will only be used for heavy duty operations every now and then; I suggest part # AL84JQ; this is an air bag suspension enhancement system that will only have a capacity of 5,000 lbs, but they are the closest that you will get with air bags.
