Front and Rear Suspension Enhancement for 2022 Toyota Tundra Towing Travel Trailer

Question:

Using a 2022 Tundra 4x4 to pull 6500# travel trailer with 10k e2 round bar WD hitch. Wanting to add timbres to beef up the rear and improve ride. Would adding something like this to the front improv eride as well? With this option work with the 4x4 Tundra?

The Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1094F are designed to add additional support to the front. Since you don't have a front load on your 2022 Toyota Tundra I don't think this will be necessary or make a real difference.

As for the Timbren # T45MR, I would consider how frequently you're towing or hauling before adding them. If you're towing this trailer all the time they are an alright option. If not, your unloaded ride quality will likely leave you wishing you hadn't added them to the truck.

I know there is an additional cost, but I recommend adding the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL84JQ instead. These will give you the additional support you're looking for and a better ride overall. Since they are adjustable, you can set them up for towing your trailer and run them down to the minimum psi when you aren't towing so they won't impact ride quality.

I also recommend adding a wireless # AL58WQ air compressor. This will allow you to adjust the air bags wherever you go from the cab of your truck. This is a dual path system so you can adjust each individually.
