I had watched some install videos online which helped with the instructions. Had to make minor alterations, one was the cut out for the axle vent tube which was mentioned in the instructions, the other was to cut off the corner of the top mount to give clearance to the exhaust shown by the red arrow in photo. I'm sure not every exhaust is exactly in this position, but mine was, not a big deal. This install was on a 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 4WD.

My Fifth Wheel tongue weight was around 4500 pounds.
It would make my headlights at night blind people on road. And my steering wasn’t that great! After installing these Air Bags my lights and steering are so much better. Installing these air bags I did it myself on ground. No jacks truck on level ground. I put together everything. Then went under truck on my back. Mounted the top mount. Then I took strap and smash the air bag down to fit. After in place I took strap off. And bolted it all up. Took me 30 min. Per side. Very easy to install. Just basic hand tools needed. I buy a lot of stuff from etrailer they have the finest stuff at excellent prices. They have my business for life!
Been in the truck for a year now with no issues. Keeps the truck and my 11,000 lb 5th wheel level and stable. Easy install too!
I had my Load Lifter installed by my local mechanic. He was impressed with the quality and ease of the installation. I have a Ram 3500 Mega Cab 6.7 liter Cummins 4x4 DRW. Rather than drill any holes in my truck, I had him install the Schrader valves on each side of the inner fender wells above the dual rear wheels. There were factory holes there that the valves fit in perfectly. I am planning on adding the onboard compressor at a later date. The only issue was the upper bracket on the passenger side. It needed to be trimmed for tail pipe clearance. My exhaust is factory so guessing the bracket design was for gas exhaust models which have a smaller diameter tail pipe. Everything else went perfectly. Customer service was fantastic. Thank you Caroline!

One year later and my Air LoadLifter 7500XL is working great! Towing our 40ft. 5th wheel with 4 slides is much smoother now. We found 35 to 40 psi works best while towing it. I run different psi when towing my excavator. It is great to be able to adjust the psi according to the weight and position of the load on my trailer.
Every is as expected and fast shipping, but my axle vent is at the top of my axle where the bottom plate sits ( not enough space without pinching the vent hose)( not sure was designed for 2018 ram 3500 chassis
truck, hopefully a small mod will fix that, the product seems tuff and high grade( no cheap (4njunk), looking forward to the install.

Received my order quickly, easy to install.
Against my better judgment, I originally ordered the Air lift Loadlifter 7500XL
from a competitor online that appeared to have a lower price.
Well I learned the hard way, I paid for 2 day shipping, after placing my order with the other company and they took my money, my delivery date was now 4-5 days. I called an was on hold for over an hour, I asked about my 2 day delivery and they said “that was after they were pulled out of the warehouse and that could be 2 days alone” I asked if I canceled the expedited shipping, when could I expect them? I was told 4-6 weeks! What in the wide wide world of sports is going on here!???
I canceled the order, call etrailer and my call was answered within 60 seconds, I placed my order and since the shipping was free, it actually cost less than the competitor, and they arrived in 3 days.
Don’t waste your time with others, etrailer is the best!
Five. Stars to Bob for his assistance in selecting the product. Product installed easily and the instructions were detailed and supported with pictures. Airlift is a superior product that worked very effectively and stabilized my load which was over 20,000 pounds.
This is a phenomenal system if you are looking for something very simple to give your truck it's full towing potential without breaking the bank.
We have a 2500 that regularly carries around close to it's maximum payload capacity of 1,500lbs. After installing the bags, there is absolutely no squatting, and the truck drives much smoother - especially at freeway speeds.
The bags hold air extremely well - air leaks have never been a problem for us. We ran the air lines out back next to the license plate for easy access to check/adjust. We found 20psi to be the sweet-spot for our setup.
Installation was surprisingly pretty easy. I would highly recommend using a lift for the most efficient install, however this system could definitely be installed on the ground with the proper safety tools in place.
The only additional thing I would mention to the pickier shoppers is that the ride is slightly stiffer than stock when there is no load on the bags - even when deflated to their minimum pressure of 5psi. We drove it all winter at 5psi with no weight and had no issues. However this system is definitely geared towards towing, and the system rides smoothest when it is loaded down.
For the price - this system deserves 6 stars. Easy, affordable, and effective. We will be definitely be purchasing a set for all future towing vehicles.
This is a good product. It arrived on time as promised. However, they did not put all the bolts in the box. In order to install I had to make a trip to the hardware store to buy 8 bolts to install. Good thing I checked before beginning installation on the truck.
Be sure to double check the contents of the package prior to beginning to install.

I went to a competitor and purchase a product that was listed as in-stock but when the confirmation email came in it stated the item was on backorder. I call etrailer and they had it in stock and it was in my hands two days later at a lower price!!!!! You know who I will call first next:)

This system has been on my 2018 Ram 3500 SRW. We tow a horse trailer and use it everyday. I installed it myself. Works perfectly. We are now going to put one on the 2007 Ram 2500

Awesome product, it’s been a nice ride on this bags pooling 16K - 20K loads almost every day...
Shipped quickly and arrived in good con dition.
Installation was not a problem,but if you would include temporary cage clips to compress bag for easy install( holes are in plates which I installed mechanics wire,when in place cut. My plate had to be cut for breather tube a more detailed picture of where to cut would make install easy. Pre cutting 1 plate doesn't seem like a big deal. Past weekend took camper out (28.500lbs) ride better not bucking off helpers on bumps 40psi will play with pressure next time out. Thank you
I installed the kit on a 2005 Ram 2500, to level out the truck and 5th wheel. The install was pretty easy and all the hardware and airlines were included. I had to tighten one air fitting after I connected the trailer. I would recommend this product.

No issues with the air bag system. It has kept the truck level when hauling the 5th wheel. Well worth the money to install the system and have the smooth level ride.
My Ram 1ton has level kit so when you add 10,000# plus load, you need to raise back to level out to front. Works perfectly. I run them at 10 psi when no load. 35psi with 5,000 # load and 75psi with 10,000 plus load.
Air bags worked great, really helped in managing the load in my Ram. Thanks trailer for making it easy:)
The Air Lift 7500 XL is an excellent addition to my truck and managing the load and ride under load. I haul a 3 car wedge and the ride is much improved with no sagging of dip on the rear of my 3500 dully. I highly recommend this product
The install was a breeze about 4 hours, we have traveled several thousand miles with our 10 foot Lance camper loaded on back, while towing a side by side on a tandem axle trailer. The added support made the stability much better, we also installed the twin beam receiver about the same time. Happy trails good investment.

2 years since install, still awesome. No issues. No squat, nice and level ride even pulling a 40 foot 5th wheel with 4 slides
Great kit! Everything fit together perfectly. I did need to notch the lower bag mount on the drivers side for the vent tub, but no big deal. I do wish that the specific tools you would need were listed in the instructions. Turns out, I needed a 6mm Allen wrench that I didn't have, so it cost me some time to track one down. I haven't towed yet and I haven't hauled with this specific install, but all of our work pickups have Air Lift bags, so I know what I can expect out of it. Can't wait to hook up my heavy 5th wheel and take the squat out of it!

I have had no problems with these Air Springs. They keep the truck level and absorb the road shock towing my 19000 pound 5th wheel. Highly recommended.
Installed a set on my previous trailer hauler and loved them. When it came time to upgrade our current truck's suspension there was only one choice to make.
No issues and I abuse them. Running hotshot 8-10k miles a month. Was shocked on how well the handling was with a 40'Lx12'Hx10'W bumper pull mobile office behind my truck. Running air lift smart air auto level system with them.
Installed on 2018 Ram 3500 SRW 4x4 short bed. I haul a slide in camper, wet weight of camper is around 3000lbs. These air bags helped quite a bit to level the pickup and prevent side to side sway and roll. The install is pretty easy. Prereading of directions is recommended.
