Hello, neighbors, I'm Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at the Hellwig Contact Helper Springs for the above axle application. Now, folks, these are a custom fit application. Make sure you're checking our fit guide here at etrailer.com, top center of our homepage. Enter your year, make, and model where it says vehicle information, the truck size, cab size, bed length, maybe two-wheel, four-wheel drive, anything it asks you to make sure you're getting the right parts the first time. Also, keep in mind, sometimes videos can be outdated, and it could fit current years that aren't in the video.
Now, that being said, these are a custom contact helper springs that will provide a better load support than just your factory springs alone. So you can see each set is two springs, and they're gonna prevent sagging when towing or hauling heavy loads. They're also gonna extend the life of your factory suspension, tires, and brakes. It's a very simple install, I've just mocked everything up here loose. You get the bolts that bolt onto your factory contact springs, and the mounting hardware is included, so these U-bolts, the bracketry, the washers.
All these have two nuts on them, that's for extra security, so they don't come off. So you get all your mounting hardware, everything is durable steel construction, it's gonna ensure a long-lasting performance. And zooming in on the finish here, you've got a nice what they call a hammered vein tone powder coat finish that's gonna resist corrosion. Very nice looking, but also, very, very durable. You got a nice lifetime warranty, and they are made here in the US.
