Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at these Hellwig Load Pro 35 Progressive Helper Springs. Now, these springs are custom designed to fit your 1999 to 2014 Ford Van E-250 and E-350. And on custom fit parts such as these springs, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if these will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.

Now, these custom helper springs with a load leveling capacity of 3,500 pounds are going to install above your van's rear factory leaf springs to reduce sway and body roll while preventing sagging when towing or hauling heavy loads. And they're going to extend the life of your factory suspension, tires, and brakes. And these springs will flex with your leaf springs to limit bouncing while giving you optimal stability. Now, these progressive rate springs adjust to the load on your van giving you an improved ride. These springs won't affect your ride, however, when you're unloaded.

Now, this is going to be a bolt-on installation above, as I mentioned before, above your factory leaf springs with the included custom installation kit. And what I tried to do here is with the U-bolts and the included hardware tried to assemble this as best as I could where the parts are gonna go on the spring, so hopefully that kinda gives you an idea of the placement of the U-bolts and the parts when you are assembling this on your van. The driver and passenger sides can be adjusted independently for uneven loads. I do wanna point out that if your vehicle is equipped with the factory contact overload, it may need to be removed before installing these new helper springs. So please consult the installation guide.

Also, you don't wanna install these on vehicles with composite or plastic leaf springs because these are so robust, these could possibly crack or damage those composite or plastic leaf springs. Now, these springs are made here in the USA of a durable steel construction, which will ensure long lasting performance. They feature a silver vein hammer tone powder coat finish that's going to resist corrosion. And as I mentioned before, these do have a weight capacity of 3,500 pounds. But I do wanna point out that these Hellwig helper springs will not increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity.
