The Racer Mat from Race Ramps puts a generous, 1" thick cushion between you and the hard floor when you're working on your vehicle. Simply unfold the mat, place it where you need it, and get to work.
You can easily use the Racer Mat as a creeper mat or as a kneeling surface, which comes in handy when you're detailing a car.
The mat is made of polypropylene fiber and is oil and chemical resistant. The closed-cell foam construction keeps it from retaining water, which means it will not grow mold or mildew. And if you need to clean it, the mat is tough enough to withstand power washing.
The cut-out handles make maneuvering and storing the mat easy. You can just fold it, pick it up, and go. It is also compact enough to store in your vehicle's truck or cargo area. Additionally, you can use the cut-out handles to hang the mat in your shop or garage.

Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Race Ramps Racer Mat. It's gonna be a mat you can lay down in your garage or driveway to get underneath your car and give yourself a bit of padding to make it a more comfortable experience. Let's check it out. The material on top here is a kind of carpet like material.
It's nice and soft and it feels good. It's an inch thick and it's a closed cell polypropylene construction underneath. It's gonna resist oil and chemicals and for any water spills, it's not gonna retain water so it won't grow mold or mildew over time. This is gonna be six feet long and two feet wide. Plenty long for me to lay on but also good to just give yourself some knee padding if you're out next to your vehicle and maybe you're putting on some tire chains before you head out in some bad weather it's always a sticking point for me when we do tire chain videos, something like this would actually be really nice and it is going to be really good for those knees too.
I feel like I'm well supported and it's not uncomfortable and I don't feel it bottoming out. This also folds up when it's not in use. Just folds right in half like this and it's got two handles that come together so everything is easy to carry, move around and just keep it in your garage when it's not in use and overall, it's a pretty simple product. I've got a knee pad at home in my garage when I work on my car, but it's pretty small. Something like this would be really nice because it's gonna work great for my knees, I can double it up if I need to, or I can fold it or flat and use it to lay on to get underneath my car.
It's just something that makes the whole experience a bit more comfortable and it's gonna work really well at not retaining any of that water or moisture. Overall, I think it's a good addition to the garage here and it's been our look at the Race Ramp racer Mat. Thanks for watching..

Cut-out handles make it easy to move and carry the mat.Great mat for getting down and dirty at the track to fix stuff without the gravel, grass or pavement on your back. Much more comfortable than the ground. Newer so do not yet know how durable it will be but man, it’s comfortable.
I do my own oil changes and the ground gets harder and colder every year. With this 6' x 2' mat I'll probably be able to continue this chore for another 10 or 20 years. I'm 78 now!

Not so sure about my previous last years optimistic 10 or 20 years use for oil changes. The mat is still great... my bones not so much! Need the cushion insulation effect more than ever. You will like it too!

This has been great, held up well and I now use it at home in the garage as well. Inexpensive investment with high quality of life return.
