Colin: Hi, everyone. It's Colin here at etrailer and today we have a 2019 Toyota Tundra and we're going to go ahead and do a test fit of the DeeZee custom fit truck bed mat. Now this mat is custom fit for the truck bed of your Toyota Tundra. Now you can see how it lines the contours of our truck bed very nicely at the corners, at the wheel wells, just to make sure it's covered as much of the bed as possible. And this is going to be a really nice solution to protecting your truck bed from any type of dents or dings or scratches or anything like that, but not only your truck bed, maybe even some items you throw in there. This truck bed mat is going to do a great job of protecting it is so if you have luggage or something like that, you're tossing in the inside, you definitely don't want this spray-in bed liner scratching up your luggage, especially if you're traveling a lot.This is going to be a 3/8 of an inch thick, narrow cord construction.
Now narrow cord is just a blend of nylon and rubber, just a little bit more durable than standard rubber and you can really feel it in just the sheer weight of the mat, you just know it's very durable and it's going to hold up well to rugged use if you're constantly throwing tools and other equipment in the bed of your pickup. It's not only going to protect your truck bed, but it's also going to protect those tools as well.Now what's also nice, it's got a nonslip surface. You can see when I run my hand across it, it doesn't really run around too much. I've got this cooler right here, we'll toss in the bed. So right here, when you try to push it around, even though it's empty, it's still adjusts a little bit, but put some force on it like simulating some weight, some drinks in there, some food.
It doesn't really move around at all, so that's nice that it won't slide around at all while you're driving. This is great for coolers, toolboxes, stuff like that. Get this out of here real quick.Now the bottom side is going to have a lot of rubber cleats, pull this up so you can see it and these rubber cleats are going to help keep the mat in place in our truck bed. Now it stays in place very well thanks to the rubber cleats and just the sheer weight of it kind of just keeps it really in place. I had to pull pretty hard to get it to move, to get it to adjust.
So overall I think it's going to be a really nice addition to your Tundra. Like I said, protects your truck bed, protects the items in it and as you can see, like I said, we have a spray in bed liner. You can use it if you have a spray in bed liner. There are some advantages like I pointed out, luggage, stuff like that. You don't want that stuff getting scratched up from your kind of rough bedliner.
So having a bed mat in there just adds protection for both of those purposes.Now with all that being said, I think that's going to do it for our test fit of the DeeZee custom fit truck bed mat on our 2019 Toyota Tundra.

This bed mad is quite heavy and durable. I like how there's no need to drill into the bed for installation. Just drop it in and go! It evens the floor of the bed out nicely so loading items is super easy and they don't slide around.

Arrived sooner than expected. Thanks. Great condition, just like one I used years ago for hauling stone, coal, cement blocks, etc. Could never even marked it with a shovel edge. Same item.these are incredibly durable. They do have an odor when new, just like new tires. This will dissipate in a few weeks, a normal condition, since made of tire rubber. Not completely flat when rolled out. Place it out in the sun a few hours. Then reroll backwards prior to installation. roll up front first, back last, so it rolls almost perfectly in place. The fit is good, about an inch all around. Mine was over a spray in bed liner. Plenty thick, and heavy.

After receiving an email from etrailer explaining that my order would not be ready to ship for two to three weeks they kindly asked if that was okay with me or would I prefer to cancel. It also promised that if I wished to leave the order pending they would remain in touch and keep an eye on it and update me on the status. I decided to continue with the order and it arrived at my front door only one week later.
The product is very heavy duty and fits like a glove as you can y the photos. It also has a very sticky feeling surface that should keep most cargo pretty much in place.
But the real reason I am sending in this evaluation is not so much the product as it is etrailer and the way they do business. I have to say that anyone selling products on the internet should take lessons from etrailer and their staff. Their website gives tons of information on each product and the how-to videos are excellent. You know exactly what you are ordering and their customer service is the best I have ever encountered. I will be coming back the next time I need something for my truck or trailer.

Although this mat was cataloged for the previous generation Frontier, with just a little trimming at the tailgate and the left side wheel well (shown in photos), it fit well in my 2022 with the 6 foot bed!

Excellent Bed Mat for my 2016 Nissan Frontier with 6-foot bed. Fits very well, and is sufficiently thick, unlike a lot of the other mats I looked at. In addition to providing plenty of protection, the extra thickness has the added effect of smoothing out the corrugations in the bed. I like the durometer and finish, too - it's just grippy enough that things stay put, and not slippery when wet (like a lot of bed liners) but you can still slide cargo around when you need to. Also, the molded pattern runs lengthwise - some of the others I looked at had snaggy diamond texture, etc. It's the mat I wanted - had to wait for delivery, but it was well worth it. I've hauled everything from firewood and construction materials to welders and equipment, and this mat is just about perfect. Highly recommend and will likely buy for my next truck. Unfortunately, DeeZee does not offer a matching tailgate mat - if they did, I'd get that, too.

The rubber is soft enough to give a good no slide surface. The only reason it's not worthy of 5 stars is the surface has blemishes in it. But it's a bed mat so it's fine for my purposes.

Bought it because of the weight. Some are so thin, I think they would blow out of the bed. Now I can kneel in the bed without hurting my knees. A empty propane bottle stays in place instead of rolling around in the bed and messing up the sides. Hauled a Deer home and the mat made it very easy to clean up the blood.

This is a heavy duty bed mat that can withstand a lot of abuse.
The fit for my Silverado was good except behind the wheel wells where it was a bit too wide. A small trim job made it perfect otherwise an excellent product that should last for years. I would recommend this bed mat.

My new bed mat fits my 2023 Toyota Tacoma perfectly! I had one of these mats in my previous pickup that I had for 14 years and it very durable. Best buy for the money in my opinion.

Arrive in a timely manner. Unpacked it. Rolled it out in the truck. Perfect fit. Makes things a little harder to load, but still better than having everything sliding around banging into the side of the box. Unlike the slippery sprayed-in bed liner did. No problems here.

Works perfectly. It fits well and has a bit of tack to it such that items won't slide about in the bed. It is thick and sturdy and feels like it will hold up to abuse well. I have it installed on top of my stock bed liner because I wanted to keep the side protection and that means that it doesn't lay perfectly flat at the edges but that is what I expected because of the liner. I personally think that this is better way to use it. It is also much nicer for my dogs to stand on rather than the bed liners grooved bottom.

I was impressed with the thickness of the product and the non-skid nature of it.Second, when I laid it out the fit was perfect even to the small notches to fit the two posts at the tailgate.Since the truck bed of the vehicle of which it was a part has now been made into a trailer and am preping it to be a "Backroadz" tent trailer,the thickness of the mat is going to give us a high quality insulation factor.It also will provide a high degree of protection for the floor of the tent.I will send some pictures when I finish the project

Decided to put in a bed mat rather than a liner or do a spray-liner. Have had DeeZee products in the past and was always satisfied with them. This bed mat was no exception - it is thick and heavy and fit my new F150 6'7" bed perfectly!!

I bought the mat for my f 350 dually and really love it spray in bed liners are high. I use a piece of 3/8 plywood to make a pattern to drill holes in mat for 5th wheel hitch and goose neck ball. I then put hitch in truck to make sure I it would work than laid it on the bad mat and drilled the holes worked great now bed is protected at the cost of the mat I bought the hitch open box I sated in my first review it was used my mistake scracthed up a little no problem . I built a table with a flap to go over tail gate to hold hitch and slide it in the bed of the truck do not have to have hoist Thanks etrailer

I am very happy with this mat. Fits great! It is clean, leaves no residue, and adds a lot of cushion. The corners near the tail gate need to be trimmed a little bit - not a big deal. I have a 2019 Ram 3500 Big Horn 8 ft bed.

Mat fit my truck perfectly. Water/moisture drains through, keeping the bottom of items relatively dry. Easy on knees when crawling around bed of truck. I would definitely recommend this product.

It will provide some extra traction so your load doesn't slide, but it won't grip as well as intended when used with the bed liner. The raised ribs will give less surface area for the mat to grip, but will still be a noticeable improvement.

- Installing DeeZee Truck Bed MatFirst off make sure you have the correct bed mat for your truck. The DeeZee mats are custom designed and part # DZ86985 is specifically for the 5-1/2 foot bed Toyota Tundra from 2007 to 2019. If you have the correct mat for your truck you should roll the mat out and put some weight on the edges of it for a bit to get it to sit flat. At first it's going to want to roll back up since it was rolled for shipping. Leaving it in the sun, like your son-in-law suggested, could help too but...
