It looks like we had responded a couple of times so I am not sure as to what happened. Sometimes GMAIL will read our emails as spam so may have moved our responses to the spam folder. I do not have a drawing that I can send however the spacing you are looking for between the hangers for the Triple-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for 2 inch Slipper Springs part # AP302-H302 is 28.50 inches for the first to second hangers, 33 inches from the second to third hangers, and then 28.50 inches from the third to the fourth hangers. This would allow you to use a 2-inch slipper spring like the 5-Leaf for 7K Axle part # SP-232275. When it comes to exact placement of the hangers on the trailer frame thats something you will have to play with to get the correct placement. The ideal locations will give your trailer a tongue weight thats 10-15 percent of the weight of the trailer. I have included an article that will help.

I sure do appreciate this company and their team. Parts weren't in stock, but they kept me updated on a consistence bases and that means everything to me as a customer.
Great job!

I just have one suggestion for this kit. The fiber bushings that go into the eye of the spring should be included in this kit. The cost is nominal but I had to run around to find these bushings has I did not have to replace the springs but the bushings were worn.

This kit is for 3500lb to 8000lb capacity range. Too many spring possibilities to include bushings. Shop for your specific bushing needs on this site.

My order for triple axle slip spring suspension components was delivered on time and in good condition. The components are heavy duty and are everything that was described, a great kit . I turned my trailer over, cut away the old hangars and installed the new kit in a matter of a couple of hours. Extremely pleased with etrailers
product , price and service.

I ordered these products to rebuild a 1966 equipment trailer that had some serious suspension issues due to poor repair work by previous owners.

  • Recommended Hanger Spacing for Triple-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for 2" Slipper Springs
The proper positioning of leaf spring hangers will be up to the installer. Therefore, in order to get the correct leaf spring hanger positions for the Triple-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for 2" Slipper Springs part # AP302-H302 you'll need to mock up the suspension and then weld the components as you see fit. I cannot provide exact locations for anyone spring and hanger combo unfortunately.

  • Raising the Back of a Triple Axle Trailer to Tow it Level with a 2017 Ford F-350
There are a couple of ways to get your trailer level when towed with your new 2017 Ford F-350. One is to adjust the coupler but since you mentioned having to adjust it already in order to get the right amount of space above the bed sides the remaining option is to raise the back end to match the front end. There are a couple of ways to raise the back of a trailer. First, if the axle tubes are 3 inches in diameter and they are currently mounted above the leaf spring stacks (double-eye only)...

  • How to Determine Correct Replacement Slipper Springs for Triple Axle Trailer With 8,000 lb Axles
I can help you determine exactly what you need to replace the suspension in your triple axle trailer, although we don't have any type of database which has each part for each year, make and model of trailer that would tell us exactly what you have on your trailer, which means you'll need to do a bit of pretty simple measuring. Since you have a triple axle trailer, with three 8,000 lb axles you will need slipper springs for that axle capacity, for which we have two of that capacity. To...

  • Hanger Spacing Used When Installing Triple Axle Slipper Spring Kit
I can give you a general estimate but the only way to get it just right is to mock up all the parts to determine the proper locations prior to permanently installing everything. On a triple axle trailer with 2 inch wide slipper springs the distance from the first and second hangers would be approximately 28-1/2 inches. From the second to third hangers it would be approximately 33 inches. And from the third to fourth hangers it would be approximately 28-1/2 inches. For this set up the center...

  • What angle do swan shaped equalizers need to be at for installation?
The equalizers in the Triple-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit # AP302-H302 do not get installed in any specific angel. As you can see in the attached installation video, you will install the equalizers and springs hand tight until everything is in place. The equalizers will be at the required angel/orientation at this point, and you can go ahead and torque the equalizer bolts down and then torque the springs down.

  • Converting from Double-Eye Leaf Springs to Slipper Springs on my Triple Axle Trailer
When looking to convert your triple axle double eye spring trailer to slipper springs, I recommend going with the 5-Leaf Slipper Spring, # e74SR, for your 7,000 LB axles. This spring has a 3,500 LB capacity, an axle capacity of 7,000 LBS, and the height of this spring is the same as your current 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring, # e64SR. When it comes to whether there will be a change in the ride height when switching from double eye springs to the slipper springs, this is going to depend on the...
