With the SuperHitch Original's 2 receivers, you can tow a trailer and carry a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. And if you have a truck bed camper, this hitch has pre-drilled mounting points for TorkLift's super-sturdy camper tie-towns (sold separately). You can also add one of TorkLift's SuperTruss hitch extensions (sold separately) to extend the top receiver of the SuperHitch so that it clears your camper, allowing you to tow your trailer while your camper's installed.

Truck Bed Camper Compatibility

TorkLift is known for their truck camper tie-down systems and other camper accessories, so it just makes sense that they would have camper enthusiasts in mind when designing a trailer hitch. Each SuperHitch is built with integrated mounting points for TorkLift camper tie-downs, making it easier than ever to get a quality tie-down system for your slide-in camper.

TorkLift SuperTruss in SuperHitch

The dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch also makes it easy to tow with your truck bed camper in place. The SuperTruss line of high-capacity hitch extenders is specially designed to extend the hitch receiver back far enough to clear your bed-mounted camper, while still allowing for an excellent towing capacity. An ordinary hitch extender can dramatically reduce your towing capacity. But each SuperTruss extension forms such a solid connection with the SuperHitch that the setup is able to maintain one of the highest weight capacities in the industry. When used with a standard weight distribution system, the setup can maintain up to a 10,000-lb weight limit, even with an extension that is 60" long. As a result, you can clear almost any truck bed camper and still do some heavy-duty towing.

Dual Receivers for Maximum Versatility

With the SuperHitch from TorkLift, you can tow your trailer and use a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. This is thanks to the dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch.

Most trailer hitches have a single receiver. Typically, you can find an adapter or extension piece that will slide into your hitch to give you 2 receivers, but these adapters dramatically reduce both your towing capacity and your tongue weight, limiting how much you can tow, as well as how much you can carry with a bike rack or cargo carrier. Each SuperHitch is specially constructed to maintain a high weight capacity so that you can use the 2 receivers without sacrificing towing or carrying ability.

Super solid hitch! I haul a 16’ trailer with a sxs and the 4’ extension super truss. I love it! I will definitely buy it again for my next truck!

by:

This hitch has been amazing. Tows my loaded 25ft trailer behind the camper straight with no issues. Yes it costs you some money but the quality is there and worth it.

2000 Dodge Ram Pickup

Excellent product i am very happy with it. Installed it myself and it took a few hours. Definitely remove the spare tire its much easier that way. And check for all mounting hardware as i was missing (5) 1/2 inch flat washers. That was an inconvenience but im still very happy with the prodct. Im using this product and the 42 inch supertruss to haul my 23 foot boat behind my lance camper. So far it all works flawlessly and i couldn't be happier with my purchase.

After a year I am still very happy with my purchase. I feel safe towing with this product

Dodge Ram Pickup

This hitch required no modification on my 02’ Cummins diesel 2500 4wd ram pick up.
I just took the old hitch off and bolted the new one on. Perfect fit. My spare tire still stows in the factory position.
This is a great hitch. Very heavy duty. I bought it to put the 24” supertruss extension so I could tow my 20’ hewescraft pro v while hauling my 9’-6” camper.
It is a very solid and stable set up. I would highly recommend this hitch.
I did have to make new camper tie downs to fit the 3” square tube. ( because I was too cheap to buy the ones they sell to fit)

GMC Terrain

I decided on this specific hitch for a few reasons. One I have a camper, and thats self explanitory why I went with this hitch. The second is this gets me a short drop just in the hitch alone which is nice to have to keep the drop on the receiver down due to my truck being lifted. The third thing is why I purchased a new hitch to begin with. I had a hair line fracture on each side developing my old hitch. I tow long distances often in some rough terrain so that was probably the cause. I also wanted a larger tow rating for a new trailer I purchased to reduce the fatigue on the hitch. The new trailer will come in around 11k all loaded so its not huge, but I wanted plenty of room to go larger. Build quality is great, fine details look good. No spline bolts which was a let down since the new bolts aren't as tight as splines. Well worth the price.

The hitch and camper tie downs arrived quickly and installation was a breeze. No drilling was required with this installation. 1999 Dodge 2500

by:

The installation went well it's heavy but that was clearly stated in the installation video. With this hitch there is one less thing to worry about on our trips.

1998 Dodge Ram Pickup

Just installed on a 98 Ram 3500 and it fit very well. All holes lined up with the frame holes. Excellent quality and thick steal, great powder coat, no scratches. Only issue I had was with the lack of clarity in the installation instructions. They were pretty poor and hard to follow. The pictures were black and white and really blurry so it was hard to tell what to do. I had 2 bar washers and 1 flat washer left over which was odd.

by:

have ordered and installed several different hitches from etrailer.com and have yet to have any type of problem. Service is great, delivery is on time and products are always right. Price is better than anywhere else!

by:

The hitch does everything I wanted. Easy to put on the truck.

by:

Well built. Worth every penny for peace of mind while towing heavy loads.

by:

Excellent product. Easy assembly. Worth every penny. Thank you. Would highly recommend buying equipment through them!!!!

by:

It installed nicely and is functioning well.

Very Well Made !

  • Does Factory Hitch Need to be Removed for SuperHitch Installation on a 2015 Ram 2500
The TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLD1100 with the dual receivers actually won't fit your 2015 Ram 2500 as it is for older Dodge Ram pickups (newest fit is a 2002). For your application you either need part # TLD1109 which has a 2" receiver or part # TLD1109-30 which has a 2-1/2" receiver (but it does come with a 2" adapter sleeve). Both of these options fit with your factory trailer hitch. According to Step 2 (pages 5 and 6) of the attached installation instructions...

  • Hitch and High Capacity Hitch Extender Recommendation for 2012 Ram 3500
The best solution we have is a Torklift hitch like the # TLD1101 which has the ability to use an extension like the part # TLE1524 and not lose half the hitch capacity. This extension has a 7,500 lb towing capacity which you'd need to compare to your boat trailer weight.

  • Rear Torklift Tie Down for 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 with Torklift Superhitch
The current Torklift tie down part # TLD3101 that you have installed on your 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 only fits if you have the factory hitch. If you go with the SuperHitch part # TLD1100 you would need to change your rear tie down to the part # TLR3503.

  • Trailer Hitch & 4 Foot Extension For 1996 Dodge Ram 3500
While we can get you a heavier-duty hitch and 4 foot extension, I checked all options and there isn't a 2-1/2" or 3" hitch for your 1996 Dodge Ram 3500. And the only option for a 4 foot extension is from TorkLift, and is actually going to require their hitch because of its dual receivers. So here is exactly what you need: - TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLD1100 - TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension for SuperHitch Trailer Hitch Receivers - 48" Long # TLE1548 The...

  • Is there a TorkLift SuperHitch for a 1999 Chevy Suburban K2500
I checked with TorkLift and they do not produce a SuperHitch for the 1999 K2500 Chevy Suburban. I did some more investigation on the GM Heritage site and found that the K2500 Suburban is rated for a maximum of 10,000 pounds gross trailer weight. You can meet this capacity by using Curt trailer hitch # C14029. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2000 Dodge Ram Pickup 2WD with 8 Foot Bed
We don't have any 3 inch trailer hitch receivers. Those only come with the newer large trucks as a factory option, but there aren't many ball mounts that are made to fit them at this time. All of the aftermarket manufacturers stick with the 2-1/2 inch receiver opening for even the largest towing capacities. For your 2000 Dodge Ram, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2-1/2" # DT45513 is a confirmed fit. This however does not have the largest rated towing...

To use one of the SuperTruss extensions like the part # TLE1548 on your 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 you will need a Torklift Superhitch part# TLD1100. Since your camper is going to extend out an additional 4 feet the # TLE1548 would be an ideal solution for you as it is 4 feet long.

If you are only using one of the ball mounts then this is a great option for you as the mudflaps are 36" wide.

From what you described you need to do, it sounds like you are needing an extension of 4' (48"). While I do have an option for you, there is not currently any extender alone compatible with your current hitch on your 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 that will allow for that much extension. The longest extender we have compatible with your current hitch is the Curt Extender for 2" Hitch Receivers # C45796 which is 18" long, you would also cut your hitch weight capacity by 50% using this extender. The Super Titan 4000 Trailer Hitch # 38208 is actually designed to fit a C-channel frame. To determine if it will fit your 2000 Dodge Ram 3500 you just need to make sure that your frame is about 34" - 34-1/2" wide and is at least 8-3/4" tall. I have a solution for you that will work great with the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver item # TLD1100 you referenced but we do not have any spacers. Instead, you will want the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs item # TLR3503. These tie-downs insert inside TorkLift hitches frame mounted brackets. • Towing a Boat Trailer with Folding Tongue Using Weight Distribution with Camper in Truck Bed
It is not a good idea to use weight distribution with a folding tongue due to the amount of force applied by the spring bars to the trailer. If you were to do it you would need to have a pole tongue adapter such as # RP58393 since the trailer does not have a traditional A-Frame. The other issue is that you would need a system rated much higher. This is because when you calculate tongue weight for weight distribution you have to add in the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle...
