This telescoping towing mirror replaces your OEM side-view mirror and provides the extended view needed for safe towing. Now you can change lanes, merge, and pass other cars with confidence, even with a trailer in tow. The mirror face on the custom mirror can be pulled out to give you an extended field of vision for towing. Simply push the mirror back for regular use. The entire mirror housing also conveniently folds toward your vehicle for easy parking or maneuvering in tight spaces.

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the K Source custom extendable towing mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for your factory mirror. This is going to be for the driver's side.Has this nice, textured, black finish. It's going to match the finish on your original mirror. It's going to made of a durable, black housing. Again, that just matches up to that OAM mirror. And the nice thing about this, is that it is extendable.
So, as you can see, I have mine extended out right now. That's going to give us greater visibility whenever we're towing, especially a longer trailer, maybe an enclosed trailer, or a fifth wheel, or something like that. So, it's going to give us that wider field-of-view. And whenever we don't need that, we can push the mirror in. And that's going to take up some of that space and make it more compact for us.This also does have a break-away feature, so we can turn that in towards our vehicle. That will actually be mounted.
It's actually pretty hard to do just on the tabletop here, but it does rotate in.So, if you do park on a more narrow street, or you just want to park under your garage, and you want to take up as little space as possible, you can fold that in.That's what prevents that mirror from getting damaged. Again, if you're on a narrower street, it'll break in and just turn out of the way. It's going to have the same footprint as your original mirror. We just have this one plug to connect, and that's going to give us all our powered functions, including our powered adjustment and the heated glass, so we can clear away any frosted glass and reduce fog on those rainy or snowy days.It also has this spotter mirror at the bottom. That is manually adjusting, and that just helps to reduce any additional blind spots. It matches right up to your original housing. The dimensions for our mirror face is going to be 7 3/4" tall by 6 7/8" wide.
And the distance from the mirror edge to our vehicle is 18" when it's retracted, and 22" when it's extended out.The spotter mirror is 3 1/4" tall. This is FMVSS approved, and it does have a 90-day warranty from K Source. Now, if you want to pick up the passenger mirror to go with this, we do have that available here at etrailer.com.You can find that using part number KS62139G.And that's going to do it for our look at the K Source custom extendable towing mirror.
