The TruXport is an economically priced choice for protecting your truck bed, installing easily in minutes and cutting gas costs with an aerodynamic design that reduces tailgate drag.
TruXport installs with rails along the top of your truck bed walls, held in place by clamps - three per side. A front and rear header hold the cover assembly in place; Velcro strips along the rails secure the cover; and weather seals on all four sides help to keep dust, rain and snow out of your truck bed.
The TruXport features a dual-latching mechanism that secures the tonneau cover at your tailgate. This mechanism includes a built-in tension control that automatically sets the tension of your tonneau cover when the rear header is snapped into place. This ensures that you never need to manually adjust the tension of the cover. The latches can be released one at a time, so you don't need a partner - or a giant wing span - to open the cover.
A pair of security straps holds the tonneau in place behind the cab when it is rolled up, allowing full access to the truck bed. The rear header and crossmembers roll up with the cover to form a compact roll. The cover unrolls and latches in seconds, forming a secure rear cargo area when used in conjunction with a locked tailgate. TruXport cannot be released unless the tailgate is opened first.
The TruXport offers a smooth appearance on your truck bed with no arched bows. The tonneau cover rails sit only 1-1/2" above your truck's bed rails.

The tonneau cover has worked very very well. I've had it a year, and their hasn't been any real problems.
The only times that i have had actual functional problems is with icy and snowy conditions. It doesn't close super well, or open, when it's icy. You have to spend some time cleaning and breaking ice to make it work. I would think twice about getting it if I were int he northern state where icy is a constant.

2021 Nissan Frontier
We purchased the cover a year ago. It was an easy installation and has held up great. It doesn't leak in the rain. Though we don't typically get a lot of snow here, I would suggest that the cover is kept clear of snow so it doesn't sag under the weight.

2016 Nissan Frontier
Still looks pretty good. The only items I'd mention are:
1. The cover doesn't sit 100% flat anymore - it has some small rippled sections running lengthwise on it. It's nothing terrible but I notice it.
2. The sewn on name tag has faded to a light gray.
3. The biggest issue for me is the HORRIBLE, horrible, horrible, velcro straps that are used to contain the cover when it is rolled up. They fall between the cab and bed and are almost impossible to get out. Also, it can't really be tightened snugly. This issue alone would make me rethink purchasing this cover again.

2016 Nissan Frontier
Had this cover for a year now. Still looks great and has held up to upstate New York weather. Installation and fit were better than I had hoped. Rolls up out of the way when you need an open truck bed.

Waited a year before posting my first review, so, this will be after two years. Cover is still as good as new. Draws tight and wrinkle free. Latching mechanism is problem free.

Prety good priduct:
Pros - performs as advertised, Easy installation, strong velco holds top down. Easy open from tailgate. Keeps out water and looks good.
Con: when it heats up form the sun, it has a squeak that will drive you nuts. Yes, installed as directed. Squeak was so bad, I loosened all and re-thghtened. no fix. All bolts are tight,, all aligned corectly,. This is not user or installation error.

2007 Nissan Frontier
Does what I wanted it to do. Installation was easy, and the fit is good. I chose this model for my Frontier as I wanted to continue using the factory utili-track system. This model doesn't interfere with it.
It would be nice if it had a buckle system to secure it behind the cab when you need to roll it up as the Velcro tends to fall in between the bed and cab necessitating some digging to get access to it.

Best purchase I've made. It's been a game changer for hauling stuff in wet weather. A little noisy at slower speeds but we've gotten used to it. After almost a year of use it still looks and functions like brand new.

Great tonneau cover! This is my second Truxedo cover (new truck). The installation did not take long, and the instructions are complete, well written, and easy to understand. On this install I did have problems with the cover material not being aligned properly with the front header strip as it came from the factory. But thanks to Etrailer's Q&A section I was able to find the answer of how to correct this and it worked perfectly. The cover is easy to roll up and easy to deploy. Highly recommended. The photos show the cover on a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD.

Excellent product, high quality, easy installation and FAST delivery. Looks great on my 2022 Tacoma. this is my second purchase of the Truxedo Truxport tonneau cover. Installation to about an hour and fits my 5'2" bed perfectly.

Perfect fit and easy installation except no mention of the tie down straps mounting. I did have to add 1/2 inch weather strip on the front of my truck bed do to the bed rail caps. Looks great

This tonneau cover was supposed to arrive April 2,2024; however, it showed up at our door on March 27, 2024. What great service! These people really know how to keep a customer happy. The product was exactly what we ordered and was super easy to install. I definitely will order from them again in the very near future. I love this cover! It adds to the look of my truck while keeping my cargo protected. It also increases fuel efficiency by blocking air from going into the bed of the truck while I'm driving. Super easy to install/open and close.

I was looking for a roll up cover for my truck to have the flexibility of security and be able to haul something large if needed. I did a lot of research and was impressed with the TruXport cover because of the ease of installation and the price.
I was also pleased with the level of service. There were follow up emails from etrailer letting me know the product shipped, the estimated delivery date and reference numbers if I had questions. When the cover arrived I installed it in about 40 minutes including unpacking and checking all of the parts. So far I like the way the cover looks and am very happy with the purchase.

Does the job. Just installed a few days ago, on 2020 Chevy Silverado RST, but already have peace of mind that it'll protect from the rain/weather. It took about 15 minutes to install and only needed the 1/2" socket wrench. Very easy and affordable.

When I had trouble with the vinyl cover shrinkage and corners not fitting properly, they without question replaced the vinyl top. However, the replacement did the same thing. The gradual shrinkage caused the rounded corners to crawl up over the corner brackets which looks weird and hard to get the back latch bar down to lock cause of the excess tension of the vinyl due to shrinkage. The quality of the frame work is good however!

So far so good. Customer service and product tracking provided by etrailer is outstanding and their website is easy to navigate. The TruXport roll up cover installed in about an hour but I had to clean out the bed first and was particular about centering and clamp placement.

Great tonneau cover … perfect fit .. easy install, and works perfect with fifth wheel hitch versus folding type bed cover .. we camp a lot do this cover has been opened and closed very frequently and Velcro hiking up great …. Great product and highly recommend

After one year still works and looks great. Installation was quick and easy. From Florida sun to 8" of snow out west, cover kept everything clean and dry. For me I just wish there was a way to partially open it.

This is my third Truxedo by Truxport on 3 different trucks. Historically Truxport fully supports their products and keeps improving their design. This Tonneau is easy to install with their clamp system, roll up, and latch down with their Velcro and dual rear latch system. The tonneau material easily withstand the strong sun and Wyoming winter weather keeping items in the bed protected and dry.

2 years now on my truck. I use it a lot. Functionally it still works well. I would buy it again. There is a small flap tear that has begun forming on the outer plastic on the top of the cover towards the rear. Very small. So far this has not caused in functional issue or leak.
