Adam: What's going on everybody Adam here, with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Chain snow tire chains for your wide based tires. So what we have here is a ladder pattern style chain. We are going to have some square links. They're going to form cross chains here, and it is going to be a relatively more aggressive style chain. Just because the links are going to be about seven millimeters thick.
So, these are pretty hefty guys here. Also, they do have a manganese-nickel, alloy steel coating. So they are going to be extra hard and resist against that corrosion extra good.So, this is going to wear away relatively evenly too, because we do have the same shaped links throughout the whole entire chain, which is great. One thing that we do need with these is a rubber tensioner, so just go ahead and grab one of those as well. That's just going to pretty much suck up all the rest of that slack.
So, we don't have cam tensioners here, but these, I didn't have any issue getting a good fitment on this tire here.Another thing that I like is just the looks of it, to be honest. I like the coating that they put on these chains here, just because it just looks cool. That is just my simple opinion about it. They do come in a pair of two. So, if you do want to just put them on the back tires, all you got to really do is just grab one set of the chains.
But if you plan on doing some extreme off-roading, we can go ahead and grab two and put them on all four of our tires.They do come in a little tiny bag like this, but they can all fit in there and you still have a decent amount of grip to be able to hold them and carry them to wherever you need. These aren't the best bags, but there's definitely worse canvas bags that I have seen in the past. The best one is definitely by Pewag. They have a really, really thick bag, but this one definitely comes in second, just because I think this one's going to last a little bit longer than some of those more fragile bags that I've been experienced with in the past.Well, everyone, that just about does it for our look at the Titan Chain snow tire chains for your wide based tires.

Serious tire chains for serious traction. I have theses on my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon(JLU) at my home in mammoth lakes. They got quite a lot of use this winter with the incredible amount of snow we had. Only negatives : They required some trimming of the chains to get them where the loose ends wouldn’t hit suspension parts but that’s just a tire size thing. and They are fairly rough riding and noisy on hard pack surfaces. But real chain is better than cable for traction and when there’s a 3 foot high berm plowed across your driveway by the city plow it’s nice to know you can get out no matter how bad the roads are.
Purchased Titan Tire Chains for Wide Base Tires - Ladder Pattern - Square Link part TC3229S for a 2018 Ram 2500 with OEM 275/70/R18 tires. These are great chains and very heavy-duty for wide base tires. I mounted them on the rear axle of the Ram and discovered the chain in close proximity to the P-Brake cable, too close for my comfort. I believe the wide base chains are too wide for these OEM tires and fit was pretty loose.
One could gain more clearance near the E-Brake by attaching the inside hook to the end (last) link. Then using a chain a tightener do your best to take up all the outside slack. I just was not comfortable with the overall fit so I send these chains back. Very painless return made easy by etrailer because they emailed a return UPS label.
After reviewing tech info and reviews I purchased Titan Alloy Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link part TC2533 for the 2018 Ram 2500. These are regular duty and a better fit. These chains offer a lot more clearance for the P-Brake cable. They are a cleaver design, have great carrying case and are fairly quick to install. I have not purchased winter tires for this vehicle so the Ram need chains to pull a travel trailer up and down our snow-covered road.

These are great tire chains for the extra wide truck tires and our mountainous area. Both were pre-installed and fit well. The latch mechanism is very sturdy and was easy to operate. Haven't actually had to use them yet since the the 4 wheel drive handles most snow conditions.

Upon delivery, I installed the tire chains on my 2019 F-250 Super Duty, and they fit perfectly! They are adjustable and easy to install if the directions on the tote bag is followed. These tire chains REALLY DIG in the snow!
The chains are of excellent quality. The staff of Etrailer had little idea of what they were selling. I have an unusual tire size and they could not give me any answers on fitment.I was going to send them back, but spoke with the actual manufacturer and decided to modify the set I got.
Fit is good as advertised. Beefy chains. Should hold up for a long time.

Very tough chains, and exactly what I wanted.
One little problem, the length of the chains were too long for the size tires I have ( even though my size was listed) and when installed they were too loose. I had to cut off two links on both sides of the female chain so I could take out enough slack to make the rubber spider stretch enough to keep the chains tight. Otherwise, these chains are a 5 star!
Beffiest tire chains iv ever bought! Would recommend to any snow plow driver, and I live at 10,000ft in the Rockies! Fits larger tires sizes too.
