Hello, neighbors. I'm Steve with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at this Front Runner Cargo Rail. It's 45 and one quarter inches long. Now, this is a raised rail. It's gonna provide a tie-down point for securing your cargo on the wall or the floor of your trailer, truck, or van.
It's gonna come with two Front Runner eye bolts for securing that cargo. So I wanna show you these. So there's the end. That's what that guy looks like. There's a washer, and little flat piece.
That simply goes in the slide on the end. I can do it here on one hand. There we go. And then you could slide this pretty much along the rail wherever you wanted it. And then you could tighten this down and the inside part is gonna hold tight to the bar, and then it's not going nowhere.
So that's how you would get those tight. Very simple to install, and simple to loosen it. Slide it back off whenever you're done. Now it does come with two end caps. Those have little locking mechanisms.
And when you're done installing the slots, you would simply just push that in the end cap for a nice, clean installation. It's kind of tough there, it's brand new. There we go. So it gives you a nice clean in there on the end cap. And then you can kinda see that hole there. That's where you would simply push back up on something with maybe like a little pry tool or something, and then get the end cap back off. Now as far as the information on this, you can mount these vertically, horizontally, however you wanna do them. So you can mount them on a wall. You can mount them upright like this on the wall. Again, it has the bolts and the rivets as far as the eye bolts for tying down. But to mount this, that hardware is not included. Now this is a nice black powder coated aluminum rail. And again, the steel eye bolts and the caps, everything's been coated here to resist rust, that kind of stuff. Now another thing, these would work great with a Front Runner like Stratchit, or any other tie-down strap as well. Those, again, sold separately. Now as far as some overall dimensions, overall from end to end with the caps in there, it's 47 and three quarter inches long by one and three quarter inches wide. And it is two and three 16ths inches tall whenever you have that bolt eye there installed. Now the channel itself, so without the end caps, is 45 and one quarter inches long, again, by one and three quarter, and that same two and three 16ths is tall. The whole thing's pretty light, it only weighs about 31 and a half ounces. Nice two year warranty. Very good product from Front Runner. Again, I'm Steve with etrailer.com. This has been our look at the Front Runner Cargo Rail. Have a great day, and thanks for watching.
