Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement lift cylinder. This is going to be for your Sno-Way snowplow. So this is that piece that's going to lift everything and make sure that you can actually lift that snowplow off the ground and then bring it back down when you need to actually do your job. So this is that component that you need.Go over some measurements for you to make sure that this is the right fit for you.
So you can see we'll have our piston here, the rod that comes out of the base, and then the attachment point up at the top. As far as the size for all of that, the bore size of the pin, so the diameter here is one and a half inch. The rod bore is three quarters of an inch. And then at the base that bore diameter is one half. So one half, three quarter, and then one and a half inches.
As far as the length, going from the center of our rod to the attachment point on the base, whenever it's retracted it's going to be 10 and a quarter inch. Extended out it would be 14 and an eighth. Again, the diameter of that rod one and a half inch, the base is going to be three inches, up at the top that's going to be four inches wide. The port type for this is a number six SAE, it's located at 90 degrees.And that's pretty much all there is to it for our replacement lift cylinder.
