Today we're going to take a look at the JR Products undampered, two inch by 10 inch steel RV floor register in black. Now this is an undampered floor registered. It'll replace a worn or damaged floor register. And when we say undampened, that means there's no adjustable dampener attached to this register, it's just completely open. It is a durable steel construction. Has a nice long lasting black powder coat finish on it.
It is a two inch by 10 inch original equivalent replacement size.What I want to do is give you the actual measurements. The overall length for the face portion right here from one edge to the other is going to be right at 11-1/2 inches long. The width on it, it's going to be right at 3-11/16 inches wide. And then the measurement of the cutout dimensions, in other words, the size of the cutout in your floor that this would go onto, it's going to be two inches in a length of 9-11/16 inches long. We loved that they were black and not super expensive like a lot of the other ones I was finding. We are full time so our doors get a lot of action and the plastic grates broke quickly. These metal replacements are great. They look great and they’re durable. I highly recommend. My only regret is that We didn’t get them sooner.
Clean install. Solid vent.
The vent arrived in a timely fashion. The product looked to be good quality. The 2 x 10 size fit was just fine however, it was too tall, outside sizes of product were not given, there was no way to know if it would fit in the toe kick space. Side to side is fine, up and down it just will not fit at all! Sorry to say I will be sending the vent cover back.
Nice foor vent. Changed out the plastic original ones in my camper for these metal ones. Worth the buy!
