Adco RV Tire and Wheel Covers

Worried about the tires on your fifth wheel dry rotting in the intense desert sun during a long camping trip? Or perhaps you're storing a boat trailer in the northeast, and you're concerned about your wheels rusting after a series of snowstorms? These durable covers protect the tire-and-wheel assemblies from dust, dirt, and the elements while your RV, camper, or trailer is parked or stored for an extended period of time. By keeping your tires covered, it'll prevent the sidewall from prematurely cracking and causing a blowout on the highway. This will extend the life of your tires, so you won't have to unexpectedly budget in a costly tire replacement.

This heavy-duty vinyl material is water repellent and UV repellent, so it'll hold up against rain showers, snow flurries, and heat waves during storage. The covers are reinforced with double-needle stitching and overlapping seams for extra durability, so it won't rip easily. And the material is easy to wipe clean before putting it away at the start of the camping season.

Securing the Covers onto Your Tire-and-Wheel Assemblies

Adco RV Tire and Wheel Covers Bungee Cords

These covers are quick and easy to install. If you have larger tire-and-wheel assemblies, it's recommended to lay the covers in the sun for a few minutes. This will let the material expand slightly, so it'll fit over your tires more easily. Once the covers are in place on your tires, thread bungee cords through the built-in grommets on the back and pull tight to remove any excess slack in the material. These bungee cords prevent the covers from flapping in the wind, and the soft interior lining won't damage your wheels' paint job.

The tire covers are used every time I return the RV into storage, which is out in the Florida sun. The covers have held up masterfully and the tires have been very well protected. I can see the difference in the storage area where RVs do not use covers or they use a less durable brand. I am completely satisfied!

by:

Still works well and looks clean after a year of constant use and UV exposure. The only negative is that installation requires kneeling on the ground and reaching behind the tire. But I understood this before I bought, so can’t really complain. Good value for the price.

by:

I measure the dia. of my tires and they are 26". So, I went with this cover since it says 27" to 29". Turns out that they are just big enough to just miss touching the ground. I have the R15 Goodyear Eagle tires.

@Myron We're glad to hear your tire covers are still working well for you!

by:

They’re ok, but they do get brittle in the sunlight. They have about a 1-year life if they are taken on and off every few months

Tim

12/12/2023

So far they are doing fine, after a year. No issues

by:

These fit perfectly on our RPOD 192. They are made well, and the stitching around the seams and grommets is very sturdy. The vinyl is thick enough so it will last in our Wyoming winters, but not so thick to make the covers stiff and easily crack. I'm glad I invested in these to protect our wheels and tires.

by:

I got my tow dolly wheel covers promptly, and they fit just right. They look like quality covers, and they were inexpensive.

Still doing well after a year. Im glad I got them.

by:

Covers are as advertised in material and fit. The bungee ball fastener is clumsy to attach so I plan to swap it out with a regular bungee next season. Just installed them so time will tell if they stand up to the wind and cold

by:

Great covers

by:

These UV tire covers worked perfectly on my Airstream Flying Cloud 19’. They have all kinds of sizes. Really easy to install. Not expensive. Fitted under my Brahma wheel lock too, so my trailer is secure and now I know my tires won’t fry in the sun. Great company!

by:

Worked as advertised with simple instal lation.

by:

covers fit well but not crazy with the bunjie cords . should have hooks not a ball and loop

by:

They look good, fit well and were in good condition on arrival. The real test will be how they hold up in the hot Florida sun. I notice they are warranted for 3 years, so time will tell.

by:

They help up to the weather very well. The previous set I had was a different brand. They did not last a year from the Texas weather. I recommend these covers for anyone that wants to keep their tires safe from the weather.

by:

etrailer had what I wanted, got it and is in use. Website was easy to navigate, I'll be back.

by:

  • Is There a Difference Between White and Black RV Wheel Covers
The color difference between the wheel covers really comes down to personal preference. White might show dirt a little more but black MIGHT create more heat when in the sun. I doubt either would make a significant difference over the other though. For white we have the part # 290-3953 and then for black # 290-3973.

  • Recommended Storage Covers for 225/75-16 Tires on Class C Motorhome
Because the inner tire is protected by the outer-most tire from UV rays, it's only necessary to use covers on the outer tires. For a 225/75-16 tire size, the outer diameter would be 29-30 inches. I'd recommend the Adco # 290-3952 Vinyl Tyre Gards. The covers include the bungee fasteners and are sold in pairs.

  • Recommended Cover For 2015 Winnebago Solis 59PX
The Adco RV Cover, # 290-64867 is for Class B RVs up to 21' long. From the specs available to me yes, this will fit the Winnebago Solis 59PX. This is a heavy-duty, 5-layer fabric that protects against rain, wind, and sun and works great for long-term storage in all climates. It secures with cinch ropes and straps. This cover that fits your vehicle does not include tire guards, so I recommend purchasing a set of those as well that will fit the 29" tires on your Travato, such as the ADCO,...

This "clock" can be started once the tires are mounted to your trailer, assuming they were stored in a controlled environment between the manufacturer date and the day they were mounted.
