What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out the 90 degree elbow from Prest-O-Fit. This is gonna go right here on your rig side, and they're gonna be two varieties. We have the blue one here, and then there's the clear one that we have attached. I like this one better, just 'cause you can have a window here to see when it's done or not, so you can kind of watch if the liquid goes through there and see, right now nothing's going through there. I know I'm done, and I've already dumped the tank, but it also is at that 90 degree to take that pressure off of the hose too, so it's gonna last longer 'cause instead of being just a straight shot plug in here, that'll put more stress on the hose hanging down.
This comes down here, so the stress is here on the elbow and not on the hose. It's really easy to get it attached on both ends. You got the bayonet fittings over here. You also have the X-seal there. That's gonna help seal it up when we put it up against there, that way there's not gonna be any odor or liquid leak there.
Then, we'll take the Prest-O-Fit. Just push it up, and it's connected. I've been pretty impressed with the Prest-O-Fit, and today, when we put it on there, we've had no leaks. We've been looking at the concrete pad, nothing has dribbled out there, and there's been no odors at all, so it's really nice to be able to just push that on there. You don't have to work at it really hard or make sure it's secure.
It goes right on and stays in place. Now, speaking of that, it's gonna be three inch here to the hose end and three inch here on the bayonet end, and I really like that clear one. I'm just gonna stand back here and keep an eye on it as it's dumping the tank and see all the contents go down into the dump station, and I easily know when it's done, so I can just push the valve back in there and put it all away. That does it. Thanks for hanging out, and I hope this helps..

I explained the issue toe trailer and at first I was told because they were different vendors they wouldn't fit. Of course I knew that was wrong and pointed out that these are a "standard" and not fitting all the other hoses, couplers, rv hookups etc. was a real problem. I did buy another different brand and it fit fine. etrailer never did offer me a refund for the defective part? Not great!

I have gotten some information back from the manufacturer that these do not be used with other brands of "specialty" hoses, other than Prest-O-Fit. Since they often utilize fittings in the ends of the hoses that are not compatible with Prest-O-Fit adapters.
