Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this RV Roof Repair Tape. This is a four inch wide tape that's going to help repair seals, joints, seams, and any sort of damage to your RV's roof. Just place this over top of any holes, or puncture marks, or anything like that that's causing a leak. It will adhere to just about all RV rooftop materials, including your EPDM rubber roofs. This is going to also work with other materials like your skylights, windows, awnings, and more.
It does have a steel lock adhesive that is going to ensure that it will have a nice firm bond to your material, to help stop leaks and prevent any water from getting into your RV where it could cause damage. One of the really nice things about this style specifically, we do have lots of other RV roof tapes, but this one specifically, it needs to be applied to a clean surface, but it can be applied to a wet surface. Whereas some of the other tapes have to be applied when the surface is dry for them to really adhere. This one can be applied while it's wet, which is really nice because if you have a leaky roof, you don't want to have to wait until it's dry to repair it. You can just go up there and put this on to help stop that leak right away. This is going to be very easy to apply. So you see, just pull out the length that you need, cut it off there with some scissors or a knife, and then just pull back this backing here and apply that down, sticky side down, to your roof material and it should do a good job.
This is going to be a permanent installation, not temporary. So it should last for a nice long time, help prevent any mold or mildew or anything like that from building up inside your RV, by cutting off that water supply and sealing up that roof for you. This is going to be a nice durable material, so it's not going to crack, shrink, or harden. So it should last a nice long time for you. It is a nice white color, as you can see, so it will match many of the roofs out there, so it should blend in. It won't be an eyesore if you're up on top of your roof. This is four inches wide, as I mentioned, and it's going to be 75 feet of length, so plenty surface area covered there.
It is going to last a nice long time. So if you are needing, maybe you don't need it now, but you want to just have some on hand just in case you we're to ever have a branch fall on your RV roof or something like that cause a puncture hole or other damage, this will do a good job of sealing that up so you don't have to worry about the water getting in.So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.

If you noticed a leak in your RV, you should act fast to prevent major damage. Quick Roof repair tape seals joints, seams, and tears. Steel-Loc adhesive can be applied to damp surfaces, so you don't have to wait for rain to stop to stop a leak. This stuff is Magical! My living quarters horse trailer had a leak. Thought it was on the slide out, but after replacing the rubber gasket, it was still leaking. Further inspection revealed the original factory seal tape, on the riveted roof seam, was deteriorating and cracking. Wiped down the old tape and placed this new tape right over top of it. No more leak. 75' roll was enough to do my entire trailer (28' x 7' gooseneck). WARNING: when you begin to put this in place, be sure you have it where you want it. It is VERY sticky and unforgiving once it makes contact with a surface.
Great service and products.
They should rename it to the BEST TAPE EVER!!!! I had used this to patch a few areas where the rubber had torn right before I sealed the roof. It is holding up like champ!!! If this was made in a 4x8 roll you could literally put a complet new roof on yourself.i highly recommend this tape it holds up better than some of the other rename brands I had used in the past on other roofs.thanks E-trailer
I had a small tear in my trailers roof, it’s been almost a year and is holding up great
Exactly what I needed to fix a couple small rips in my roof, thanks trees!
Worked well
Looks good. Works great.
This tape is amazing. It sticks to anything, is completely waterproof. I have used it to patch a tear on my RV roof, patch some areas in the vinyl awning where the sun hits it even when it is retracted and in storage, and even patch the vinyl bed cover in my pick up truck. See the photo below.
It comes in white or black. I wanted black so that it would match the truck bed cover. I've used white before also and it's equally as good
standard shipping very slow, so if you have an actual leak, consider paying to expidite.
