Lock and unlock your travel trailer door with a key, touchpad code, or smartphone. Free app available for Android and Apple phones. Can be keyed alike to match your other Global Link RV locks.The latch is well made and should be durable. However, I replaced it after 1 month for 2 reasons:
1. The door handle on the outside sticks out, which prevented the magnetic latches from engaging while the door is open…in other words, the door would not stay open and there is the possibility that the door handle could damage the side of the RV if the door were to slam open with any amount of force.
2. RV entry doors are slightly bowed outward at the center to aid in a tight seal when the door is closed. The problem is that the force of the door against the outside face of the actual latch make it difficult to open the door, especially when reaching up from the ground…as opposed to standing on the entry steps.
So, good product, but not for me.
Arrived as expected. Was easy to install and has worked flawlessly. Wife loves having a full handle to grab instead of typical camper door handles. It was easy to program our normal lock code into as well.
