Edge Banding Trim Seals Out Moisture

etrailer RV Dinette Tabletop

Unlike other furniture that have raw wood edges, this long-lasting tabletop has edge banding trim around all 4 sides to prevent peeling, cracking, or warping. That means it won't break if one of the kids accidentally drops a drinking glass, and it'll seal out the moisture from the spilled water.

Installation

This dinette tabletop either replaces or upgrades the old, existing tabletop in your RV or camper. Mounting brackets, table legs, and hardware are not included.

There are 3 white circles on the back, which give you a general suggestion for where to mount your existing leg kit. For the best table stability, we recommend installing a 1-leg kit onto the middle circle and a 2-leg kit onto the outer circles, or no more than 24" apart. But you can install the leg kit anywhere along the internal steel mounting plate. The 30" x 10" plate will help improve screw retention for when you attach the leg kit to the tabletop.

Video Transcript for Review of etrailer Replacement White Dinette Tabletop - e84RR

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement etrailer. 42 inch by 30 inch, white wood RV dinette tabletop, that has the black trim on it. Now this part will replace or upgrade the tabletop that's on your etrailer RV dinette table, or it can be used with other dinette brands at the same size. It is designed to work as a direct replacement for the etrailer dining tables.

Part number E79UR and E89UR. Both of those do sell separate on our website. Now this part here is just for the table top. This does require one or two table leg kits, for a complete setup, and those table leg kits are sold separate on our website. They are listed on this product page as a related product.

They do a flush mount table leg if you need that. It's part number E69RR, or they do a surface mount table leg, which is E79RR. Now this is a nice ultra strong, high density, EPS foam tabletop core. It ensures durability and stability. Has a nice white laminate.

Provides the perfect accent color for your existing decor. And the edging we mentioned is a black edging that goes all the way around the tabletop. Adds a nice contemporary feel to it. And I did wanna zoom in on that edging, and show you that is, has a banding again, that goes all the way around the table. It'll reinforce the table sides and it helps seal the moisture out.

Prevents your table top from any peeling, cracking, or warping. Now on the under side of this table top, you flip this over and you'll see when I flip it over, you'll first notice the three large circles on the bottom here. And what that is, is that lets you know where the internal screw plates are located. Basically on the inside of this table, they do have a screw plate and that'll assist with the screw retention when you attach your table legs to the table. Now if you do attach one leg, you'll just use this center circle. If you attach two legs, you'll use these two outer circles. And what's nice is the flange, that's on the table leg is the same size, so you just put it in there to line up with the circle. Put your screws in to hold it in place. This part is made in the USA. Few dimensions on this table top. It's 42 inches long. The width is 30 inches wide, and the thickness on this, is one and a quarter inches thick. Total weight is about a 20 pounds on this table top. But that should do it. For the review on this replacement etrailer, 42 inch by 30 inch white wood RV dinette table top, with the black trim..

The problem I have , was that the screws that hold table in place would strip out . Need to place reinforced plate at end.

  • Can etrailer Replacement RV Dinette Tabletop Be Used as Part of Dinette Bed Combo
The etrailer Replacement RV Dinette Tabletop part # e84RR should be okay to use as part of a dinette bed combo, just make sure you secure the table use two legs and not one as this will give you more support. That said, these are not specifically designed for this so that is something to keep in mind. If you put all your weight on the table it will probably break but if you disperse the weight of your body across the table and benches it should be fine.
