Concerned about the dual propane tanks on your RV or camper getting dirty and rusty with the incoming thunderstorm heading your way? This cover will protect your propane tanks from rain, snow, mild sun, dirt, and grime, so you won't have to spend too much time wiping them clean. When you keep your tanks covered, they won't prematurely age, so you won't have to replace them as often.
The durable vinyl material is water resistant, so it'll hold up against rain showers and snow flurries during storage. The reinforced stitching at stress points prevent rips from flying debris like twigs and branches. And the material is easy to wipe clean before putting it away at the start of the camping season.
The included reinforced board insert should first be assembled. This will help keep the rigid shape of the top part of the cover. Then, making sure the zipper is oriented outwards, slip the cover down along your tanks until you can wrap the reinforced elastic hem around the bottom of them. This hem keeps the cover snug and secure on your propane tanks so it doesn't shift around or come off in the wind.

Today, we are going to show you Part Number CA80100. This is a Classic Accessories RV tank cover. This is designed to fit the double 30 7.5 gallon size tanks. Let's take a quick look at it. The entire surface is a vinyl surface, on the top here and all the way around the case. Also on the very top here, we have stiffener plates on the inside and to get easy access to the tanks on the inside, we have a zipper that goes around the front.
We'll go ahead and open it up. There we have easy access, and here's our stiffener plates on the inside. Take a look at the inside surface, you can tell it's a soft fiber surface there. We'll go ahead and zip it back up and take a look at the very bottom. The bottom half is constructed of the same vinyl material, and at the bottom it has a stretchy base to it to help fit around the tanks, and help keep dirt and debris from working its way inside.
It's a pretty simple device. Let's go ahead and try it on a couple of tanks and see how it works. Pretty simple to install. We'll just go ahead and work the bottom over the top of the tanks. Just stretch it over the top. Also, make sure your zipper is facing towards the front.
There it goes. All right. Once it goes around the bottom, it actually fits quite nicely around the tanks. Let's go ahead and check out our access to our tanks one more time. We'll unzip it and have easy access to our handles.
In just a few moments we've got our two gas tanks that are dressed up with our new cover, and that are also protected. Okay and with that, that will finish it for Classic Accessories Part Number CA80100. .

The cover only lasted 3mon. The travel wind and sun tore it apart I don’t have it anymore.

Fits Like A Glove! Perfect!
Wanted a solid cover, but due to space restrictions of a tongue mounted generator rack, could not use a solid unit. This worked out well as an alternative. Hasn't been on there long enough to see if it will hold up, as I took it off for the winter.
It got damaged during install, the materials are not strong and it ripped. I never used it after that.
Fit like a factory product.

The top has some sort of hard surface under the material and it has broken into pieces for some reason.
I was looking for a cover that I could open with my bunk out. You can see that my tanks have a hybrid bunk end that goes over them. My old hard plastic cover needed to be removed from the top to access the valve; while this one just has a zipper that gives me access. After having this for about a year it still functions 100%. However, the material does stain easily with mildew and the cardboard top that holds the shape does not hold up long. I would suggest replacing that (as I have) with just a piece of plywood across the top of the tanks.
Just got ours today, but it fits great and looks even better!

Not what I expected. Looked good in the advertising, but when I opened the box, the first thing was a notice that this cover can only be used when the trailer is stationary, i.e. in storage. I've had the plastic clam-shell covers in the past, and they are road-worthy. Need to send this one back and get one of the hard-shell covers.
I would have rated this excellent if there was a separate opening to feed the propane hose through, or if the zipper was the type that zips from both ends. Maybe this is designed to feed the propane hose through the opening at the bottom, but my hose isn't long enough to do that. I also noticed that the instructions specify that this cover is not intended for use while towing the trailer. I've never heard of anyone not using such a cover while towing, and not sure why I would want a cover otherwise.
It works but it didn't take long before the zipper ripped. If I was buying again, I would buy hard plastic covers.
The product will last 1 season if lucky! The “poster board “ attachments break on install trying to cover seams on canvas and fall out during installation! Service was great from order and estimated delivery but product NOT GOOD!! Tire cover is ok and fans are great!
We are a little new to trailer camping and purchased a small camper this summer. The cover fit really well, was a little awkward to put the top panel suppoprts in but it looks great. The price was right. I was a little surprized to see that the warranty on it would be void if I travel with it on.This was my third purchase with etrailer and its great to have one stop shoping with someone that seems to carry everything I need and at great prices.
