It's normal for the fire mesh to become discolored after the first use. The high temperatures can turn the mesh brown or black, but this will not affect the overall performance of the pop-up pit. Accelerants like lighter fluid should be used with caution when starting your fire. Additionally, do not use fire colorants or flame changers as they will cause irreparable damage. The fire mesh should be replaced after 1 year of use or 50 fires.

Quick, Tool-Free Assembly

You can assemble the pop-up fire pit in as little as 60 seconds without any tools. Unfold the aluminum base. Align the holes in the ember guards with the base legs and position the guards over the top. Lay the fire mesh inside the ember guards, placing the metal grommets over the upright base legs. Secure the heat shield to the legs with the integrated Velcro straps, leaving a minimum of 4" between the heat shield and fire mesh.
